As United lose 2-1 to FC Midtjylland to the semi-professional Danish football team in the Europa League- and with Mourinho it seems heading back to the San Siro - who then would be the likely replacement if LVG is sacked ?
One the reasons I care is United are playing our relegation rivals in the coming weeks - a stronger United team with a better manager has to be better for us
When you've lost the dressing room, it doesn't matter how many trophies you have won previously. He can take that ****ing piece of **** Woodward with him. I don't care one bit about losing in this stupid competition, even if top prize is a CL place.
If I was them I'd try and get Simeone. Not sure he'd want to leave Atletico though, he's making history there.
He's the vice-chairman at Man Utd but he has overall responsibility of running the club. He's not a football man and only got into football as he's an accountant and advised the Glazier's throughout their takeover of the club. He's been a disaster bringing players in and seems to put the brand and financial side of Man Utd, before the playing team.
There isn't really anyone available though until summer, unless they want to go for Jose. I'd be weary after how badly he ****ed Chelsea up though. There was talk earlier about SAF coming in just til the end of the season working closely with Giggs to "show him the ropes" as it were. I'd be interested to see that happen, just to see how much more SAF could get out of the current crop of players. If he could get them into the CL it would be one of his greatest achievements!
My feeling is he'd be a better fit for United but you may well be right. Chelsea could do worse than sticking with Hiddink to be fair.
Agreed, he's a very good manager and seems a perfect fit for them. The players also seem to really respect him. I still feel as though Man Utd were going down the right lines with David Moyes, but unfortunately he didn't work out. I wouldn't be surprised if Giggs took over until the end of the season.
I could see it happening but I don't think it would be wise, Giggs that is. I know he's been trained for the role well but no amount of training can prepare you for the ****storm that being a manager of a club like that brings. It's not based on much but my gut tells me Giggs won't make it as a top flight manager. Number two sure, but the main man I don't think so.
