George Gaynes has just died.

I grew up watching and laughing at the Police Academy series of movies.
They are literally part of my childhood.
His comedic timing was sublime (remember the zipper moment at the podium).
Had a really good innings too at 98.

RIP the first film was ok and then down hill all the way.

 

The second film was the funniest, I didn't care for the rest.

 

Devastated. Is there a Just Giving page where we can all chip in for some flowers?

 

I liked the first three. The rest were awful.

 

The first four were decent, the rest were a bit naff.

 

I heard about this on the way to town yesterday, I **** you not the DJ on Silk FM said...

"I've just heard some very sad news about one of my favourite actors from the 80's who has sadly just passed away....Find out who after this..." Then he played a song!

No. I've never watched any of them. I was just going along with the game

 

Number 7 - Whoever decided to release that should be shot. Mission to Moscow was just wrong.
