Can a mod....

Hi p49, seamge and gas.

This past week has been annoying trying to log into this place. It seems like every time I attempt to log in, I can't. Obviously there is an ongoing issue for this to keep on happening, but what is that issue? I presume there is something about this on the mod board. If so, can one of you mods advise the rest of us what it is and how long this expected to continue?

I'm not just being nosy, I have someone asking me on Twitter what is going on. An explanation may stop some from giving up full stop, if you know what I mean.

Its been happening to me all week also I will check over on the board

 

I had a look on the Mod board and a few others have been experiencing problems,
including one or two on the City board.

I got in fine now and earlier to post this thread so thats twice in a row, so maybe its all resolved now. This morning though, I was trying a lot as wanted to finish off the Lawro and League 2 prediction leagues and post the next threads for them, but all morning I couldnt get in.

Hopefully its resolved now

 

The end few days of last week and Monday of this week I kept getting something like a 522 message which stated that someone was holding / delaying entry to the site, and said that I should contact the BOARD? to find out what the problem was

 

As its becoming a 'regular' glitch I'm sure a big cheese will get to the bottom of the problem. I didn't realise CJS wasn't a Mod any more, if your interested there is a vacant position on the City site, come on, you know you want to....

 

I havent been a mod for ages massive. Me being a mod here had a negative impact, hense why im not a mod anymore and have no interest in ever returning either.
I know your only joking about being a City mod of course but lets say you were being serious, I wouldnt be asked to do it as im a gashead and I am not liked by some or most either. Plus, your mods done great to build your board up, which is something that I have always publicly praised. But even if I was asked and I was up for it (which I am not and never will be), I wouldnt want to ruin the hard work your mods have done

 

So that's a maybe then............................

 

There is probably more chance me becoming a City mod than there being an announcement tomorrow about a takeover at Rovers

 

sorry to hear that, hopefully it's turned out a positive decision. The offer of the City position was made in jest but I think your mistaken that you're disliked by most of the City posters, infact all of them!

Going by your last comment when you said a post has opened up for a mod, is that to get a further mod or replacing a mod? Im just being nosy. Or was you joking about that too? I think smhbcfc would make a great mod for you reds.

 

Thanks wiz, I appreciate your comment. I just think its best for all. I use to take the mick and have a laugh in the past over your end but I have changed and have changed for some time now. But some dont seem to accept this and think I have a forked tongue and therefore I obviously irritate some, so threads into slanging matches and get ruined. If I dont come over, then I dont irritate whoever gets irritated so in a way im protecting your board and in return that protects our board too because the arguments dont follow me over here anymore. I am sure you understand and appreciate this. Surely you noticed more peace between us? And another thing, doing this protects me too. I dont want to see something like I seen last time which may send me over the edge. You know me, im a sensitive soul

Thanks though. Who knows what the future holds but I think at the moment im doing the right thing my friend, maybe in the wrong way but I can assure you, its only with good intentions for all

 

It seems an extra pair of hands are needed to Moderate the ever increasing board of City fans. Strange you mentioned smhbcfc as I bumped into him a couple of weeks a go and your name came up, so your ears must of been burning!

I mentioned him because when I was over your side in the past, his comments were always put in a respectful manner. He always tried to keep the peace when you had your own members having a go at each other. He gets on well with rival fans so would know how to handle guests to your board. He was well respected by you all and im positive that is still the case. And finally he strikes me as someone who can take a minute and remain calm when issues arise on here, instead of snapping at someone. All great traits to be a valuable mod to your board. Of course, my opinion dont count for your board and he may not even want to be mod. But he would get my vote though

 

yes, he is Captain Sensible but I haven't read he's interested in the position.

The site will be down this weekend for service sometime during the early hours. It is planned to do a reinstall of absolutely everything after the recent problems.
