We need to figure out if we've got a killing role amongst us, so far I'm not 100% who exactly has been doing the kills each night, it'd be good if we've got a killer not just the bad guys and possibly the dead guys lol

Obviously if your a town killing role please don't respond to this by revealing yourself ...though I suppose Valley is already out... (Sorry valley I couldn't help myself #scaredofthedead)

The prisoners decide as a group that they will head WEST towards the waterfall and further inland. You settle down for a night by the lake and agree to take watches in groups lest more of the same occurs. You don’t need anyone else to die. You all wish Prisoner 14 the very best as he prepares to slip away on his own to try and escape and tell the world about this hell hole island. Secretly you don’t really expect him to succeed but you put on a brave face for him.


In the night the temperature drops suddenly and those on watch drift off to sleep. A fog moves in off the lake, it swirls round the camp and if anyone was awake they might make out 5 distinct forms within it. There is a gasp, and a death rattle You wake suddenly as a ghastly cackles hare heard and fade quickly as the fog dissipates Prisoner 9 is found another ghostly white completely drained face stares lifelessly back at you.

You look about and find once more no signs of foul play.


In the morning you rise and join the others for a communal breakfast of squirrel. Prisoner 14 is nowhere to be seen. Something in your mind says you may be finding another disaster shortly.


You pack to go west but notice that people are missing…. Everyone looks at each other… this is not good. The groups starts to search…..

Prisoner 2 is found beaten to death with a club that is again discarded by the bloody corpse.

Prisoners 10 and 16 are found in a little clearing and both are beheaded, posed with their hands crossed on their chest. Their heads are placed on a tree stump with their mouths stuffed with dirt. These are not at ALL like the other deaths, they appear to be ritualistic. You note that their numbers have been cut from their jumpsuits but no sign of them can be found

Prisoner 20 snaps…. “AAAARGGGGGHHHHH” he screams and he runs towards the lake in the mad scramble to get away…. A bubble slowly bounces out of the jungle and follows him swallowing him whole.


Later in the morning

They party hurry on their way nervously eyeing each other. The multitude of killings and attempted kidnapping means the group are not feeling chatty. You follow the path toward the waterfall and west, After half a mile you come across the scene you feared… You find Prisoner 14 nailed to a tree, apparently crucified. His head sags to one side and you lift it looking for any sign of life. There is none. You pull him down, not taking much care now of ripping the nails through his wrist and feet.


You find a note stuck to his chest. It is crumpled piece of paper torn from a book, the note reads:

You all look at each other. Some prisoners doff their caps in respect for the deceased. Some start to argue amongst themselves.


After all that’s gone before you examine the body for any clues as if you cannot get to the bottom of this nobody is likely to get off this island alive. You note a small bruise on his left cheek and his shirt appears to be on inside out.


You leave the scene as soon as possible and soon find yourself climbing along a narrow ridge, which falls off steeply on either side. You must be nearing the top of the waterfall, you raise your eyes skyward. A heavy plume of spray is rising from the rushing water and you don't relish the thought of approaching more closely.

You step forward slowly-and almost stumble over a stone stairway to the top. You climb up and stare round.


Your hearts sink. You look about and find that you have come to a plain. To the north you see the hotel where you started from, below to the east the lake you were at. You see nothing but mountains around you..


Do you:

Head north and the hotel

Return to the lake

Enter the mountains.

oh look what a shocker I was wiped out by the mafia...

Read tonight's posts gentleman, there was an obvious agenda against anyone questioning the consensus jump in, and I obviously got too close to calling out those who orchestrated it.....

I'm innocent btw....

all will get dead board PM shortly. You get your usual one i'm ead post you are all fools then just become ghosts. I don't mind the smileys but no corrupting the live board.

 

So we lynched an Acolyte (yay!) and a load of innocents got murdered in a variety of horrific ways (boo!)

Good job on our choice of lynch victim but overall not a great night for numbers of the town...

If I am right about the acolytes beings eparate to the mafia, then the mafia are now in a very very strong position - especially as one of us was possibly recruited (I guess that depends if they picked one of the killed people).

 

Also Tobes and style were both innocent and both next on our list of suspicious players

 

Styles ..yes, Tobes less so
