I don't know what it is with you Jimbo but the vast majority of posts on here and on LFW have stated that the performance against Ipswich was one of the best performances all season, maybe you were at a different game? They in your opinion could have had 3 or 4 but apparently if it wasn't for their keeper playing a blinder we could have had 3 or 4 before half time. You seem to have a different opinion to the majority who were at that game.........opinions eh? Oh and before you say anything, no I wasn't there but take note of what posters say about the game and the vast majority thought the R's were good, which is good enough for me.......
Putting what a ****ish response that is to one side, the point I made is that that's the nature of the league. Just about anyone can beat anyone on any given day. MK just won at Derby. I doubt Derby fans are saying "MK just lost 27-0 to **** Northern City FC ".
The reason Blackburn done Fulham and we didn't is simple. We have JFH and Blackburn don't. And yes, I am calling for him to be sacked!!
Basil Fawlty? In all honesty, I don't know, but I sell pharmaceutical products, I don't run a football club.
I think in time it's got more chance than any other strategy. Rome wasn't built in a day and all that.
Taking the long term view rather than the next few days....... Having said that lets get to 50 odd points asap and then look forward to next season with a degree of optimism once JFH has had a summer to put together a side that is his.........don't forget this is still essentially Ramsey's squad, JFH has only added Washington and El Kayhati.......
We have to differ Watford. I appreciate that things take time and maybe I'm still pissed off about Saturday, but we have been waiting years for this board to appoint the right man (they did with Warnock IMO). It's about time they got it right or handed the reins over to a more capable group.
He is on a rolling contract so I imagine he may well sack himself No idea if he will make it Hope he does but he owes us all three points
TBH Shefford the Board thought they got it right with Hughes, then Redknapp (I can barely bring myself to type his name), then Ramsey over the last 5 years.....the problems don't all stem from the manager......
They are in so deep that they couldn't sack themselves even if they wanted to......... The thing that the Board needed 5 years ago was a bit of paitence when they took over a new Premier League Club that was debt free, made one or two shrewd signings per season to improve the playing squad and we could have established our selves as a decent mid table EPL side by now, but alas it was instant glory wanted and this is the consequence.......have some hopes for the next few seasons......
Last month I "celebrated" for want of a better word 50 years of following the R's, still don't expect to see us win the league title in my life time.......but a cup win would be good (not just winning a 3rd round tie)....
