Off Topic Mafia game: The island

Good spot. Guessing it's a typo though.

 

We really need to vote off a mafia/bad guy tonight. Especially since they will be recruiting, but also just generally for us to stand a chance of winning. We can't afford to get this one wrong.

So put your thinking caps on and see if you guys agree that ACS looks like a bad guy. ACS if you have a valid defense please give it.

 

I also saw that, but i figured it was just the one. I think that if mito said 'guard' it would seem like he only had one to start off with, and i would guess the warden started off with 2 or 3 guards initially for a balanced game, so mito said guards to avoid confusion...

 

Yeah that makes sense, just thought I'd point it out in case it was important!

 

Are we going to see some people actually making votes anytime soon? Plenty of pondering over ideas, not many votes in the table.

 

Still haven't decided what location to go for. Was hoping to see a bit more discussion.

As for the lynch, looks like people are happily sitting back - either content with the situation or waiting to see if a large surge will help.

So far we have RHC voting for me with the reason being he hasn't followed the game and is randomly voting for me. ACS is voting for me because I voted for him. Poor reasons for day three votes!

Tennis and myself are both voting for ACS with the link to BobbyD the detective as the reasons given.

Nev is voting for penfold with "shaking things up" as the reason and everyone else has avoided voting. Come on people...

I had such high hopes for today with all the long well thought out posts going on earlier but we don't seem to have actually formulated any kind of plan on what direction to take or who to lynch!

Time for people to start speaking up with what they think we should do...

 

Driving again for the next half hour or so... Hopefully there is more going on when I get back!

 

We need to make sure that we go for somebody who we genuine reservations about. We also need to make sure that we don't leave the door open to late tactical voting. However, if we pile on any one person too early we wont learn anything either.

We need to hear more from others about who they have suspicious reads on.

So far the only opposition to the waterfall theory is from ACS (a main bad guy suspect), and RHC who turns up for 10 seconds and makes "random" decisions that both align with ACS.

Read the posts about the direction theory. If you disagree fine but at least give your reasoning. There are supposed to be clues in this game.

 

Do I ever defend myself?

Apart from saying I'm town which this time I am. Actually with **** all role too.

Haven't a clue about directions as I haven't read the rules yet to be fair.

Yes Valley also said guards and I doubt it was a typo.

Possibilities based on powers seen in previous games:

• warden started with 1 guard but recruitment ability, maybe the recruited person died before actually being recruited so that power wasn't used (yet). Maybe all guards being dead means a bonus recruitment, so possibly 2 people recruited. Although the message says 1 will be recruited tonight but perhaps that is only referring to the bonus one based on last night's killing. Or, if there is a limit of 1 recruitment per day then the bonus one is used tonight and perhaps the standard recruitment is then available again from tomorrow onwards.
  
• started with more than 1 guard but the ability to hide one of them per night from investigation (there was a town detective), so the lynched guard appears innocent. We lynched DPP (acolyte) and Valley (innocent) so it's only possible Valley was a guard. He also claimed to have a role and information about the warden/guards, so possibly that was a bluff to make himself look like a town role which it seems he wasn't.
