Brighton have lost only 4 games all season and they are in tremendous form. It's a mark of how good we are that a draw against them is a disappointing result.
I guess that also explains why they were quite pro-Brighton. I ****ing hate this growing trend of calling us Hull though.
Because if i hadnt had the need to buy my car or indeed curry they would ultimately be no economy ..no economy no football
Very tight game as expected. Brighton have got their second wind this season and I think the first priority tonight was to maintain the 3 point gap.
To much backward passing football from city Thought snodders should have gone off at half time. Poor compared to saturday . 2 points dropped for me . Seemed like City were playing for a draw . Still i had a good night watching city for all my moaning
No worries mate, I'd like to have seen him score too - it would have been something more to tease my Lincy neighbours with.
We started well and for the first 15 minutes we looked ok… but then we ran out of ideas and conviction. It says much that the best attacking forays after 75 minutes were Davies carrying the ball forward. Some were awful, Snodgrass, Clucas, Diame we seem to be devoid of any real pace. Brighton set up to just nullify us… no Plan B yet again… !!!!
Were a bit boring that. And cold. Brighton set up for the counter attack and smash-and-grab, and did it well. Neither team really tested the others' GK, bar the Clucas attempt at the death. Point about the right result. Neither team deserved to win.
Thought they set up for a draw always had eleven men behind the ball and defended very well, apart from us hitting the bar we didn't have the know how to break them down. They time wasted and the game needed a goal from us for them to come at us more but I thought they were a very solid team unfortunately it didnt make the game very entertaining. Would have been good to win and create a gap how ever it was not to be and a point is better than nothing
Brighton came for a draw - parked the bus in fact. They packed the midfield and were happy to pass the ball around their own back four all night. We didn't hit the heights of Saturday and couldn't break them down, although Clucas was unlucky toward the end and Hayden only had to hit a hard and low cross in the final minute and we would have nicked it. Frustrating night but if anyone said last August we'd be 2 points clear at the top with a third of the season to go I'd have taken it - wouldn't you?.
**** game even ****ter atmosphere. The team did nowt to really raise it but the fans were silent. Brighton taking the piss!!!
