Actually, could we possibly have a say in the title race here? I reckon they'll take it quite seriously and it'll probably be a team mixed of regulars and fringe players. *If Alex ****ed, say Cech from a corner, and he was out for the season... *And before anyone says anything, I'm not saying I hope that this happens...
I wouldn't mind so much but each time we have played them in the last few years there has been an endless succession of small, niggly fouls by the Arsenal team. They are wonderfully adept (obviously have been coached) to break up play without incurring the wrath of the officials. Case in point, I wrote a match report for the Cup Final for one of the blogs: part of the report was that whenever we had the ball Arsenal would do something - often illegal - to kill any momentum we had. To support that I looked up the stats. During the cup final Arsenal had possession 65% of the time, i.e. 78 minutes to our 42. They committed 17 fouls to our 18. That means it was 4.33 minutes per foul that we committed, 2.47 minutes per foul by them.
Here's a thought for any Gooners fans that have an issue with Mike Dean: http://www.theguardian.com/football/2016/feb/16/referee-shot-dead-by-player-sent-off-argentina
Brucey needs to drop a "Mike Dean is the best possible referee we could ask for in such a big game" comment in the lead up to the game...the paranoia will hit the ****en roof with all of these moaning goons!
Their team and their fans got Leicester beaten on Sunday. I'm hoping they don't just get beaten by Barcelona but made to look like a National League team.
Not unexpected that the fans of the **** magnet Arsenal find summat to whinge about already, as yet again they are favoured by a home draw, yet somehow they feel they've got the ****ty end of the stick. Used to be a decent club now everyone from bin Laden to Piers Morgan follows them.
