The bloke who died, Mr Smith (good one), was indeed a caravan dweller.

The bloke who shot him was dodgy as well, he paid £225k cash for his house, had £50k in the bank and £200k hidden in his house and couldn't explain where it came from, so they seized it.

I don't see why, really. The fact that the tenfoot wasn't gated off can hardly be blamed for the fact that a murder took place there.

It's run by Humbercare. Of course it got planning permission, but they just didn't consult the community, and rightly so, because the usual NIMBYism would've kicked in.

This is getting serious and I heard Humberside Police are considering reassigning supersleuth Darren Downs from his duties as matchday generalissimo at the KC, after his recent triumph against criminal mastermind Liam Windass. His lowkey softly-softly approach and 'Please hand yourself in Liam' strategy paid dividends as the trigger-happy tatter was finally apprehended with the help of Peter Levy.

The kerfuffle is over the local council not informing their electorate about the change of use for the old YMCA building even though they were aware of it. They kept it quiet for reasons only they know about.
Which is my eyes means because they were frightened of the backlash from the very people they depend on to vote them in.
One councillor hasn't been seen or heard of since.

When my mother was alive and in her mid 80s a neighbour had a large ornamental, flower pot stolen from her garden. The police came round and asked my mother if she wanted counselling. The little old dear who this copper was patronising won a medal in the war for her actions on an ack ack battery near Southamton at the age of 19 never having been out of Yorkshire before. The woman whose garden it was stolen from was a bit younger and managed to live through the bombing raids in Hull without counselling.

Was it actually a change of use, and if it was, did they really not make mention of this in the planning application?

I love The Avenues area; it's full of great people. It's also full of narrow-minded snobbish ****s, too.

It wasn't a change of use, it was covered by the permissions they already had.
