Eden Hazard's stats this season are shocking. In 23 league games he as 0 Goals and 3 Assists. For a guy of his calibre, that is terrible. Just goes to show that the Chelsea players have really underperformed badly this season. Shameful really.
Sometimes the biggest hurdle is yourself and not others. Players need to concentrate on their game and not on things that they don't have control over. His stats this season are shocking for a player of his caliber and he should be ashamed. Another player that comes to mind is Balotelli, he has all the talent in the world but the worst head on his shoulders. He's currently on loan from Liverpool to AC Milan and they seem to be sick of him http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...-Mario-Balotelli-not-play-AC-Milan-again.html. Feel for Klopp as he has to deal with all the dross that he's inherited and Balotelli will be back again. He'll have his work cut out with him...
What do you mean his stats are 'shocking and he should be ashamed' ??!! He's had injury issue for that last two Seasons... However.. 27 goals in 30 games!! (and 11 assists) this term - The crazy thing is a poor Season by Lionel Messi is still better than any Season Didier Drogba,Karim Benzema, Nicholas Anelka,Thierry Henry, Alan Shearer, Diego Coast, Kun Aguero.. has EVER had. He is just shy of scoring 5% of all Barcelonas goals in the history of the Club. I am totally convinced Messi is the greatest ever. He's a Winger a striker and midfielder - wherever he plays he scores and creates on a level never seen before.
Tbh that is one of the biggest myths in modern football. The guy is very average. I seriously question how you can say he's got 'all the talent in the world'? Come to think of it.. any real talent. He's a bang average footballer with a terrible attitude! But like I said it's a common myth. For some reason people believe it. If you see him play in the flesh he's a complete tool.
Don't know if any of you have heard of the rapper Stormzy and the song 'Shut Up', but there's a Mesut Ozil parody of the song, which I actually like Normally I find some of the Arsenal songs and raps pretty horrendous, but I actually like this, for some bizarre reason:
Spurs have been knocked out of the FA Cup at home to Palace. They fielded a pretty strong side too, so it's not like they weren't taking it seriously. Their response can either go one of two ways. 1) They shrug it off and put everything into their Premier League campaign because they have less games to play, so it could mean that they focus their efforts on winning it. 2) Confidence falters, momentum falls, self-doubt creeps in and the players start to fatigue, which affects their performances and results. I'm obviously hoping it is the latter.
I'm hoping it's the latter too. What it will do though is give teams going to WHL confidence that they are beatable there. I.E. us !
Our record over there isn't that great in recent years, and I actually think that due to the importance of this NLD, we would put in a good performance, but the fixture congestion does worry me, especially the FA Cup replay against Hull. I'm hoping Cazorla and Jack will be back soon to add to our depth and so that it gives us more room to rotate. I pray that we suffer no more injuries!
Don't think will make Spurs suddenly doubt themselves, but it does show, they aren't invincible, I think it will all go downhill come April, when they have to play United, Liverpool, Chelski, and Stoke. .
I'd rather City had won, we have a better recent record against City, it would have been good for city to have more games and with Chelsea's season being a flop they will be focusing on the FA Cup. It's another big team out though.
