Views on some of the films I watched recently.
    Sicario- Excellent 7.5/10
    Macbeth- Good 6.5/10
    Revenant- Excellent 8/10
    The Martian- Excellent 8/10

Very impressed with Revenant and the Martian, both well worth watching and both very gripping.

    Felt total opposite.

Martian - one or two funny moment but pretty boring overall.

Revenant - stunning scenery but not much of a story line I felt, was all a bit predictable.

Deadpool was really good, enjoyed it from start to finish.

As expected its very funny (its practically van-wilder kicking arse, in a good way though) well planned in terms of pace to the story line, one great line from deadpool about the lack of proper x-men in the film is a particular favourite <laugh>

TWD was brilliant I love the way they set up some stories and then nope that was ruse to suck you in.

it was pretty good, a nice change from the usual superhero bs and i liked the way it sent those kinds of films, that are everywhere, up ... didn't blow my mind or make me cream myself exactly like it seems to do for a lot of people, mostly fanboys/girls

I was a fan of the Deadpool comics but I just don't think this will be brilliant and will to some degree be just another superhero film. They've flooded the market and it's just dull now too many films. The TV series part of the fanchise interests me more as they can take their time and build the character over a longer time.

  14. Although I think talking about it is fair game once it's aired, there are some mardy ****s on here that won't have seen it yet so I'll be careful...

The opening scene was awesome, love that it showed the after effects too.

The vision with the gun fire (amongst the walkers) was very surprising. Second time he's been in that situation now too.

Good to see the team working together and it was particularly important to get some main characters killed off to give the "no one is safe" impression <ok>

    **** em.......
Loved that Jessie's little brats both got taken out.
Shame about Jessie herself though, I liked her, and she was hot.
The Dave Grohl look a like though, was sad he got taken out, after he kinda redeemed himself, though I cannot blame Carol, that woman doesn't mess about.

  16. <laugh> fair enough...

It was Jessie and her brats I was referring to by "main characters". The brats had to go and it was obvious they would at some point. I thought it was also obvious how the youngest would go. Surprised Jessie went though and I agree its a shame.

Carol was pissed off at herself already so "Dave" got the brunt of it <laugh>

Good to see Father Gabriel and Eugene actually get their hands dirty as well.
After both had been such pussies in the past.

The fight scene that focused on all the characters one by one speeding up and ending on Rick, brilliantly done.
