Off Topic Mafia game: The island

Three people died last night. One of them we killed as a group (DPP) - though the manner of death likely holds clues to what is going on. One of them appears to be a random killing to player 22. This would mean that the bad guys only had/took one kill. We don't know if they tried and failed to kill more, or even if they had that option.

As far as game play is concerned, from a tactics point of view we need to try and work out why Biscan was targeted. Was it just because he was Biscan, or was he onto something earlier in the day?

 

Also, are these extra killings (players 19-23) in the game to help the dead team with numbers in some way?

 

I thought Biscan was a bit quieter than normal today. As always I had my suspicions of him (only natural) and can't say I'm surprised he's been targeted early on.

Problem is, he's a good player () that both good and bad teams will target depending which team he is on.

Obviously, he was innocent. That means that any team could have killed him since innocents don't know who each other are (unless there is a masons type team). I would have told us more had he been his usual dodgy self!

 

That had occurred to me too. Must be a reason they are included.

Unless MITO was just being a lazy twat having already written a game. Doubtful since he only said he needed to write the game on Friday after accepted it was unlikely that anyone else would sign up.

Right, you had Chaos' Day one meltdown, now get prepared for my Day 2, early hours meltdown.
1) I have been quiet because I spent an hour trying to get on this site around 6-7pm and couldnt get on, then Monday is the night I watch my TV shows (Shameless US, and Walking Dead was back), then i forgot about this game to be quite honest.

2) I really don't know why I bother playing mafia, because everytime someone says "I voted for [insert name] because he supports [insert club]" it makes me want to tear my eyes out in frustration. FFS have a reason to vote for someone. On a normal thread I am Bodanki, Chelsea supporter, in this thread I am Prisoner number whatever the ****, and I support no football team

3) To follow on from that, bullshit cop outs like "Oh I only voted for him to even the vote out" are just that...bullshit cop outs. I vote for someone if I have a reason to vote for them, if I suspect something, or if I feel they are going to impede the towns ability to win the game. Hence why I voted Chaos, because he doesn't stfu, changes his vote every 10 minutes, and just lives up to his username. On day one especially, if you have a coin toss, you are pretty much just giving two townies a 50/50 chance instead of 1 townie a 100% chance of death unless you have something to go on, which, on day one, we usually don't.


Tobes and Chaos is the pattern I noticed so far.
Tobes changing saves me, but I know I am town without any special powers whatsoever, so that means he saved Chaos. It also might just mean that he wanted to vote for someone else.

I suspect that him and tobes are working together to kill because very early on they both voted chaos and dissapeared off the map until bobanki was in trouble also. Then low and behold tobes shifts his vote and lets not forget he usually changes his vote regular as clockwork?

Must admit two reasons i stopped playing the game this time, firstly aint got the time but secondly i've found in practically every game the team tactics have been based on exactly what you said its dependent on what football team someone supports....but anyway if you want to be sure of a meltdown in day two, please get it right this time and continue the persecution VOTE:
