Anyone who genuinely thinks Northern Ireland should be a part of the UK is a halfbreed. In the same way anyone who thinks Scotland shouldn't be independent is a coward and a traitor.

The British government should have just left the island of Ireland to a horrible civil war. They should have washed their hands of the colonists they dumped there. There is literally no real reason that Northern Ireland needs to remain a part of the UK, other than the fact they have managed to create a horrible, horrible breed of *****loid Protestants in a tiny part of land that they sohuld never have been in in the first place.

And i say the above in the same way that there is absolutely no need for the tricolour to be flown in Scotland to commemorate the 1916 Easter Rising.

 

And anyone who chooses to live amongst Arabs is not to be trusted. FACT.

 

I'm working here though, not colonising a tiny part of the land to victimise the local Arab population.

Simply put, you're just a middle-aged Nigel who is scared of England having to go it alone and, like almost every single Nigel ever, is frightened of the true facts.

Scotland should be independent. Wales should be independent, Northern Ireland should be a part of a United Ireland. England can enjoy the desperate hunt for oil fields off the Falklands whilst becoming a declining world power in almost every aspect other than tourism.

 

The point being , we're getting as bad as ni at times and next step is for ****e like this to spill onto the streets ...

To be fair most of the arguments made on this thread are more eloquent than those you hear at Prime Minister's question time...

Except on this occasion the disenfranchised population who threaten, send bombs, cause trouble, and fervently complain are the pro-Unionist/Loyalist/Protestant population.

It's just like in Ireland: victimise a demographic of the population, hold marches lauding it over a certain group, and then when the shoes is even vaguely seen to be on the other foot, complain about traditions, rights, culture, and other ridiculous things because, put simply, most of your family and friends didn't get an education because you were too set in your ways of having every thing gifted to you.

There's no violent pro-Republican movement in Scotland and there never will be. Any sane person (i.e. Nationalist) has seen how the Irish handled it and relaise that independence will happen without throwing bricks, ambushing the army, or blowing up cars, and that's why the Scottish unionist/loyalist/knuckel dragging community will be the only ones kicking off on the streets WHEN independence happens.
