That Sterling pen today was hilarious, even moreso cos I was sat next to two raging city fans when it happened so was just winding them up going that's stonewall, nailed on pen lads, you can't do that you're asking for a pen to be given as i chuckled at their protestations

Shearer was world class but nothing like the players you mentioned.

Kane isn't world class (yet) but the argument you put across was extremely poor.

 

And Barca are a funking joke really, was sat watching them just laughing mostly at the pace and footwork,ridiculous ... deffo back to their best

 

Kane is really good and scores lots of course but I look at him and think he's pretty one dimensional

 

You should watch a bit more of him then. He can came deep, holds the ball up, links with others, good positioning, can finish worth both feet and his head, he's strong and although not pacey, he's not slow either. As I said, reminds me of Shearer but he's got some work to do before reaching that level.

He'd already run over the semi-circle and taken at least one step in the eighteen yard box

Granted the balls already moved a yard by this point but Suarez is a good three yards beyond the semi-circle (so was the CV player on the other side mind)

 

i dont recall suarez standing on the half circle tbh

 

He didn't, he took a run up and then ran over it

The skill by Messi to win the pen was top class though, is it wrong to feel 75m was cheap?
