What's that got to do with it ???

One bunch of arseholes made a request ... Another bunch of arseholes got mad n made online threats

If the council had binned the request in the first place then we would be here ...

    Both groups are massive fannies

But the council didn't bin the request and what has happened is they've allowed themselves to be Bullied into a decision with thinly veiled threats.

    How's that a good thing?

Because that ****e would have spilled onto the streets ... If common sense had been in place from the start , we wouldn't be here .

We're getting as bad as you ****s..

It's only going to get worse when Celtic play Rangers 5 / 6 times a season and that's a depressing thought.

    bunch of ****s ...

I'm glad it's been stopped before it got serious ...it might not have been done the right way IF labour backed down due to threats but they should have never got to this vote.

    It was a ridiculous request

You might like riots n throwing bricks , I don't!

First off,it was never a good idea but funny all the same because of the ire.
2nd all the people that think 1916 was treacherous don't know their history,we signed up to "free the small nations" and we were one and promised Home Rule but sold a pup.The Scots had a chance recently but bottled it,too concerned about their pensions and just can't comprehend life without suckling London's teats, only saying.

I love the "traitors* speel that's always bandied about and is evident on this thread but we were our own people and country and we weren't British but Irish and decided to take our country back, simple really.Ah the natives had a donnybrook in the post office but Lenin,Ghandhi et al took an interest.

ps I'm referring to 1916 Ireland here, remember that!
