You think it was just mad orange ****ers who didnt want the flag down in Belfast?

    Of course it wasn't.

The normal people seen it as a democratic vote that didn't go their way, the mob tried every trick in the book but you can't ride roughshod over democracy because the mob make veiled threats.

That's what has happened in Scotland.

    No it's not.

The lack of peace bricks is testament to that.

Look Ceers I know you desperately want some other place to be as ****ed up as your home town but the UK is not the place to look..

Syria or Mogadishu might give you some piece of mind<cheers>

Their details were put up online ffs it was mob rule.

You vote people in, they make decisions and if you don't like them you vote them out next time.

Do you live in North Lanarkshire?

Where in the paper does it say that ... Labour council toeing the party line seems to be the message

No, I'm from there originally But, again , my issue is not specific to a flag but to councils wasting their time debating and voting on stupid requests ...this request should have been binned as soon as it was reviewed . They've given credence to a bunch of cretins .

As the paper states , nips it in the bud , stops loads of other groups wasting time.

    They really didn't like it.

Although sources have claimed the move is about not wanting to "open the floodgates" to flag requests and not the Irish Tricolour or 1916, it is understood the publication of the names, addresses and contact details of several councillors by a Loyalist group has raised concerns.

Claiming "every meeting you sit in, every vote you cast and every move you make within the council will be known to us", protest group Regimental Blues also said in a statement: "We will be watching. We have the winning hand here and we strongly suggest you do not call our bluff."

What has this got to do with anything?

They threatened the councilors and the councilors reversed the way they were going to vote.

It'll come back and bite them on the arse.
