Wrong horse again Tim!! If I was thinking of employing him, the fact that he makes a ridiculous choice and backs against players whose careers he helped to develop wouldworry Isn't it strange how there hasn't been a crush of prospective employers all fighting for the talents of this visionary coach. A coach who was recently sacked by...er...Aston Villa! ( How embarrassing! )
Yep, the same coach that all the BBC pundits were lauding over and couldn't fathom why Spurs parted with him and thought he was the next big thing. Laughable.
And Lescott elbowed Kaboul in that game too. And Rose got a penalty and red card incorrectly given at WHL. We've had to put up with a lot of bad, match defining decisions against them really.
Pellegrini won't be charged by the FA after his post-match comments yesterday. They're as inconsistent as the referees. How does the Chilean Terrahawk get away with implying a clear bias?
Only now read the thread and am reliving the events from yesterday. Didn't get in till gone 2 in the morning. I was there when..... What a feeling. I was down behind the goal alongside their fans-what a sight and after the game the walk back into town ; some of the comments by their fans were classic. Oh , what joy it was/is being a 'YID'. I walked through town with my colours on show-pubs refused me entry!
I was two blocks to the left of the Spurs fans...saw it all...well done...saw some epic meltdowns around me from the Citeh fans...from starting on the stewards to starting on each other...superb! Where were you, where were you Where were you when you was **** Where were you when you was ****
I tried so hard not to watch the game, not to check FB or the BBC or anywhere that might give away the result. Mates? Who the **** needs them? please log in to view this image Going to watch the game now...
Most people would just send that guy a spoiler in return. I'd probably switch all of his phone numbers around in his mobile at the next opportunity, instead.
How did you manage to contain yourself when Eriksen scored?! Surprised you managed to not get yourself thrown out. I would have been tempted to run down the front and jump in with all the Spurs fans!!
Dier to Toure at half-time! Wonder who Hart was talking about? Interesting to see Dembele and the Ivorian getting on so well before the game, though. Mutual friends, perhaps? Aguero looked totally broken at the end, as he should. I like to see players that are as hurt by loses as the fans are.
Perhaps through Kompany? Can't see any overlap in their careers apart from Yaya starting out in Belgium.
Some years ago when I was working in a shop on the weekend and wasn't able to watch us play United I set it up to record(on VHS so no easy feat!) and told everyone not to tell me the score or talk about the game. An hour to closing and the manager, who wasn't working and didn't know I was recording it, walks in and says "unlucky about Spurs, eh?". Never bothered to watch the game in the end

A few years back I worked in a ski shop with an Arsenal fan. We checked the score at one point during the NLD and they were 2-0 up at the Emirates...then we were run off our feet at work and didn't get a chance to check the scores until closing much later. The look on his face when he pulled the scores up having been crowing all afternoon and we'd won 3-2....neither of us had any idea! MOTD (and the gloating, I must say) was sweet that day. Almost as sweet as Dele Alli, the nutmeg king, megging Aguero and Silva (I think?) in quick succession yesterday. What a boy.
