The trial of Adam Johnson (part 2)

I'm currently building a web site as well as looking occasionally on different feeds regarding the case - I only noticed the updates where fairly regular and seemingly with more info on the blog than compared to the tweets - but you may well be correct mate

 

****ing disgrace.

People are actually ignoring what's been put in front of them and looking for reasons to have a dig at a child victim.

 

Describing Johnson, she said he was "really pale, quite bushy eyebrows, his teeth weren't geet straight or geet white". -

 

There are always going to be inconsistencies, when you're under the spotlight you don't always remember everything that's gone on.

 

The inconsistency is the inclusion of the sex act in her police statement. Pretty relevant piece of info to forget.

Surprised the CPR went with these extra charges and it's becoming clear why AJ didn't plead guilty to them. There's enough so far to significantly question weather it happened. If it has happened, not saying either way and simply looking from a defence point of view. It's hard enough to prove such a thing anyway, with that in mind she needed to be honest from the off and she hasn't(for what ever reason) Defence will have a field day with it, especially with the price of them, they're sure to be very good at what they do.

 

Who? Hope you don't mean me?(would help if you actually said who you mean fella), I'm staying on the fence and trying to see it from both the prosecution and defence point of view. I'm certainly not having a dig at the victim.

 

I'm not 'passing judgement' on her, you know . . . . I'm just saying that, from what I've read, things don't 'add up'

 

I read she actually gave the more serious alleged sexual accusations on her second police interview

Bloody hell...My 15 year old lad has been a hell of a long time doing his papers today..

 

Yeah that's what I've read. She also read she felt awkward with it and fine with it in separate accounts(at least that's how the reports read). Not saying it didn't happen(I think it probably did but my personal feelings on AJ aren't relevant), but like I said, it's a hard accusation to prove at the best of times. Inconsistencies could prove very damaging to the prosecution case.

 

This is my stance as well...The trial lasts for two weeks or so and I want to hear all what is said and what comes out. When it is all done I will say what I think regarding Johnson and his actions.

 

If you had a 15 year old daughter who doesn't want you knowing that you've touched a PL footballer's nob, you'd maybe understand. There could be a million reasons why she never spit it all out from the off.

What has been proven is that Adam Johnson was prepared to let this little girl's life end up in ruins if he could get away with a crime that he definitely committed. He was prepared to let that happen, he was prepared to lie in order to cover up the fact that he lured a child into his car to have sexual activity with her and he hoped that she would get ripped apart by his lawyer and he would get away with the crime that he definitely 100% committed.

Then he changed his mind, because he was in **** up to his chin. She hasn't been proven to be a liar. She's a kid though, if she didn't spit the whole truth and nothing but the truth from day zip, that's exactly what you'd expect from any child.

Marcus jumping to the conclusion that she was money grabbing the other day and now whoever said it's a pack of lies.

Really doesn't sit right when we have no ****ing idea what's happened or really what's actually happening in court. Just a representation of it.

 

If he turns up with a big grin on his face, don't forget to ask him for a sniff of his fingers when he gets home.

 

does anyone know if AJ's girlfriend or any of his family has turned up yet?

 

His family are there. His gf hasn't turned up.

 

This is just so wrong on so many counts..
