So if this was an escape attempt, who was stopping?

I guess tomorrow when someone else is voted to escape we will see from the description if it is something like what happened to 23 like with the shoe and smell details.

Edit: never mind, I see its in the rules section rather than the descriptive bit!

 

All this suggests the reason @moreinjuredthanowen calls it an escape when it's practically the exact same thing as a lynch is that he then gets to tell a story about how the death happens. So these stories are the main clues so far.

 

Trying to think outside the box here, so some VERY random thoughts....

Is it significant that it was Player 23 who died and not player 19? There are 18 players in the game - so is there a role or significance to players 19-22?

MITO is a pool fan - so did he just pick player 23 because he doesn't like Emre Can? Is there meant to be some sort of devious clue in who he is?

Surely there can't be any significance in naming players 6 and 11 (AFC and Gerrez)? Is that one of the red herrings?

 

In my experience quiet people are usually bad and sudden action being taken by a number of people is suspicious.

While i may be annoying that cannot be argued but hey im obviously going to be ignored.

Ok so if 23 died because of trying to escape and not because of a secret killer, then why the **** are we going upstairs? Werent we going upstairs because that's where we thought the guy who killed 23 was? Am I missing something here?

No, the way it's worded would suggest he tried to escape and therefor died?

I think MiTO is just using edcape rather than lynch because it ties in with the whole game better...

Maybe 23 found a way to escape upstairs but couldn't do it on his own and needed more people?

I just feel like very quickly a handful of people all jumped on that option without much if any discussion. Feel like we are being lead tbh.

We have three options and we know one option resulted in someone dying so we are going for that option? Just seems a little odd to me, though I'll go with the town if that's what we are thinking is the right option. The lack of discussion about the options other than you supporting the upstairs route is concerning me!

I feel like mito added the options just to add an extra layer of paranoia
