Pires forgot his stage direction, and where the ball was. It has always been a giggle to stumble over that on Youtube.

I think this might be a British thing? There are plenty of cultures around the world who would see an Overdog v Underdog match and enjoy the Overdog not only winning but taking the mickey as well. The British definitely don't like it. For me, it's something I'd even not like to see Saints do to another team. You imagine last season if, on top of soundly whipping Sunderland's backside, we'd got a penalty and did that to them? Nope, not for me. You just don't do that in sport.

 

On a plus side, I imagine it counts as a missed penalty for Messi. He in particular was seen as the peoples champ compared to Ronaldo, but I have to admit ever since Neymar joined he seems to have become a bit arrogant.

 

Still, he's the best ever for me.
