Not on a wum here, but. Does Steve McLaren proper piss you off with his constant smiling when he gives a post match interview when you have been stuffed. It infuriates me and I'm a Sunderland fan, so can't imagine how you lot feel about him. I just want to punch him in the nose with that ridiculous smile on his face.
No, as I don't watch coach interviews. Haven't done for years, since Hughton's glance up and down. What exactly do you get out of it? Do tired cliches turn you on? Do braindead questions from braindead journalists tickle your timber? Does the whole stage managed, scripted 3 minutes really add to your perspective of the game? How about when a decision goes for a coach and they claim not to have seen it, or against and they've seen 50 million slow-mo replays from all the angles? Seems the reason people watch them is purely to revel in the elation of a win, or to moan whatever the coach says after a defeat, it's utterly pointless. I'd much rather see an interview of the refs, sand get their opinions on decisions. But do what makes you happy.
As I have no interest in listening to him, I don't, and therefore not bothered in the slightest. More fool those that do and get themselves worked up. You should really get a life, especially if you're not a NUFC fan.
Not seen it nor intend too. Like the Dungeon Master I don't see the point. What exactly are people expecting to be said? He has to man manage a disparate number of personalities. One fit does not Fitz Hall.
Hey, imagine just how pissed off you'll be with McClaren when he gives an interview actually following a win?
He annoys me too and I support Liverpool. I've never forgiven him for his England performances and then his Dutch 'accent'. Never thought he was good enough.
It doesn't bother me as he's only got one facial expression regardless of a win, loss or draw. The only thing that seems to change is the order in which his excuses come in!!!
Nothing wrong with Steve, he's promised us faithfully that he'll play Collocini and Taylor in the derby match , can't wait.
Louis Van Gaal had a face like a dead haddock after yesterday' s defeat. Actually, you could argue his face always resembles that of a dead haddock.
If he is annoying Sunderland and Liverpool fans then he is at least doing one thing right - now if he could get us around 6 wins and annoy Sunderland fans even more he will have gone up even more in my estimation.
I don't watch his interviews. I can't stand the blokes patter. I don't hate him, he's trying his best, he's just ****e as a manager. He needs to go back to coaching. I watched two or three interviews at the start of the season but he just bores me and talks utter ****e.
