To be completely honest if it's not in the same division that City are playing in I only take a passing interest but I really couldn't give a ****.
I've got a bet for Arsenal, City and Wigan to win their leagues. £1500 quid if it comes off, unfortunately Wigan need to pull there finger out. If they don't though I'd love Leicester to win the Prem. At least our boys are doing the business.
Felt sick at the final whistle today. Don't think we deserved to lose that game. Arsenal fans are atrocious. Never seen so many half and half scarves in my life.
You've fallen into the trap of believing you can win the league. You need to get that thought right out of your head and then when you do win the league it will be a lovely surprise! Be very careful of Spurs.....
I've never thought we'd win the league, I probably would if we won today mind. 12 points clear, 12 games to go
Admit it, you've got a sneaking suspicion you might just do it even though you are desperately trying to resist the thought...... We're all thinking it.....
I honestly haven't. Obviously I would love to win the league, but i'll be absolutely ecstatic with a top 4 finish.
For a change, I agree with you. Still, it wasn't as bad as the last time you played them, and you're still top.
It'll be too 3 Man City seem to be sinking quick, Pellegrinni has probably lost interest in it now, maybe trying to ruin them before he leaves!
In terms of what? We went 1-0 up and hit the woodwork twice before they equalised earlier in the season. 5-2 flattered them so much.
Think how we felt in the FA Cup final. They were suicidal at not having won anything for 9 long barren years. I don't like Arsenal at all after that game - met quite a few ungracious twats on the way out of Wembley.
Everyone I spoke to said we played well & were unlucky. I was wandering round for over an hour looking for a pub that would let me in. Never did find one. **** phone signal so couldn't use internet! ****ing EE crap, Wembley sponsored by EE BULLSHIT!
Arsenal are ****s, end of. I should add that my feelings towards them goes beyond our history against them over the last few years. Reason being Spurs are my second team as pretty much the rest of my family are London born and brought up and are all Spurs fans first, but City second. I just happened to grow up in Hull and therefore rightly support my local team, through thick and thin. So with the right circumstances I don't see any problem with having a second team, but City first every time. I would love Spurs to win the Premier League this year, or if not them Leicester, any ****ing body but Arsenal.
I can understand people wanting a change to the boring predictable 1 of 4 teams winning the Premier League, but surely a Spurs side who play football would be better than a 'hard working' route 1 team? (and I don't like Spurs)
You definitely didn't deserve anything. Thought Leicester were poor today, Arsenal created enough to make it a cricket score but we're just atrocious in front of goal, the only time you looked like you'd score was the penalty. Being down to 10 for so long didn't help mind, but as said earlier swings and roundabouts. I won't call out the penalty decision but you should never have had the ball there in the first place, Morgan jumping on top of Ozil just before was absolutely a free kick in an area a team like Arsenal are likely to score from it. Fair result but a hard one to take losing it so late like that. That Wasilewski is a bit **** isn't he, that's the kind of thing Alex Bruce likes to do.
