We need to beat united, especially after today. They have got hardly any fullbacks (or even defenders) fit so we should create a lot of chances (just need to get past de gea), while i wouldnt say there are anywhere near as potent as Leicester, while our defence is looking good.

    Spurs will be tricky though

We have to win at OT to be honest. The game at WHL is going to be tough. Spurs still have to go to Anfield, Stamford Bridge and to Stoke too which will be tough, so they can drop points. We have very little margin for error now.

So the Spurs fans on this thread going on about how we didn't deserve a penalty for Leicester's hand ball, did you deserve one for that handball? What a load of ****.

I'm sure they're more than happy to take it now, when we had the most obvious one denied to us.

The officiating in this league is so bad, how Spurs get a penalty for that handball, and we didn't get one for such a blatant handball with the ****ing Leicester player moving his hand to the ball, and then Vardy getting awarded for cheating. There needs to be a complete overhaul of the refs and standards there are in the EPL, because they are ruining the game.

Why are the pundits so anti Arsenal?

In all seriousness - Tottenham get praised for their current position. We get critised for not doing better.

When Liverpool pushed for the title under Rodgers they received nothing but praise. When we do the same thing - Its just criticism.

Truly hope we win the league this year just to shut them up.
If we do win it - It will be "to be fair its the weakest league in a long time" if Leicester or Spurs win it, I'm sure it'll be hailed a "remarkable achievement".

In terms of Liverpool, to be fair to them, they were on an incredible run, what was it, something like 11 out of 11 wins? Think if we were on a run like that we would also be getting a lot of praise. Also they were playing some fantastic stuff too, scoring a lot of goals, very good plays, too bad they bottled and slipped (literally) when it mattered.

I thought the OX wasn't too bad as well today, played in some good balls into the box.

Yeah he did fairly well but to be fair Walcott was considerably more threatening when he came on.

No-one expected Tottenham to be where they are. I think even most Spurs fans are surprised with how good they've been this season.

Whereas we have been expected to challenge for the last few seasons now and although we seem to be getting back on track, it was looking like the same old after a string of very poor results.

We won't have a better chance to win it so if we fail to do it this season, it'll still be disappointing.

That's about it, Spurs and Leicester are doing well in comparison to their usual season. You are about on par so they are more likely to get the pundits praise.

And Ramsey gets away with blatantly faking injury,
Sanchez gets away with blatant faking injury
    Sanchez waves pretend yellow card
Coqelain (excuse spelling) gets away with shoving Leicester player walking off slowly
All are more clear yellows than simpsons 2nd yellow...all 4 are supposed to be mandatory yellow card offences....and the 2 rolling around and pretend card waving are simply embarrassing behaviour

I agree that the standard of refereeing can be poor but it certainly aint all against arsenal.
Last week v Bournemouth you should have had a man sent off but it didnt happen.

Edited...had accidentally put red card instead of yellow card

To be honest, this kind of stuff happens all the time. As good as teams like Barca are, they've resorted to play acting and trying to get players carded. Its the unfortunate side of the game....

I agree...was just making the point that the refereeing was not as one sided as A87 suggested.
All teams have players that roll around so weren't trying to dig out arsenal...even though you are the worst for it <laugh>

Why is everyone allowing themselves to get wound up by tards from other clubs? We won b*tches! God I love a last minute winner. Haven't been that excited by a goal since Vermaelen's against Newcastle and that pales in significance compared to this one. Really genuinely pleased it happened for Welbeck too after all the sh*te he's dealt with over the last year. Thought we were solid if unspectacular but I can see signs of us slowly getting some form back. If this coincides with us getting a few injured players back then so much the better.

Can we also get over this dirty Leicester nonsense too please. Yes there were some strong challenges but it's a massive game and every team gets away with a few close calls. Have we really forgotten Flamini's challenge last week already?!

Course...I might not be so magnanimous had we lost or drawn!

Have to say though Ranieri is a class act.

Even in his post match interview. Agreed with everything he said (which is rare)
