So announcing Guardiola's appointment has seemingly backfired...

 

Despite the **** penalty decision, Spuds deserved that. Sadly, they look excellent.

I hope we beat them at the lane and draw 0-0 at Leicester in our run of clean sheets from now until May

 

3 horse race for the title now. With City playing in the League Cup Final in 2 weeks time, a win over Chelsea will put us 4 points behind them.

 

The league has some cracking keepers, but De Gea and Lloris are easily the best two in my view. Christ Spurs are fortunate to have held onto him for this long.

 

I suggested that Spurs would be the last team I'd want to win the league. Let me think again....Pompey, the Devil's Second XI, or Spurs.

Hugely, but I think Man City have been eminently capable of being beaten, all season. They are an extremely talented team. Thing is, they stroll through games at times. Get a team that is fairly talented, but works very hard, up against them and they're very beatable.

 

So you don't think Forster is anywhere near? Impressive.

 

If Leicester don't win it, I'd like Spuds to. Brilliant young manager, a credit to English players, young team with no hyper ego stars, exciting football, best CB in the league.

I can't bear Levy, but the rest of it I like a great deal.

 

Don't think they really care as long as they finish in CL.

 

If we can beat a resurgent Chelsea, then the gap will be down to four as they have the league cup final.

Even with a game in hand it will be a great boost

 

Mainly I'd like someone other than the usual suspects to win it.

 

Only thing I dislike about Poch is he is ruthlessly ambitious. As soon as he sees a bigger club interested he will go and not give a ****.

 

Even more reason for Poch to pretty much throw the EL. They're ten points clear of 5th - if they don't finish in the top four now, they've only got themselves to blame. And unlike 2012(?), I don't think they need to worry about finishing 4th but being screwed over. Yes Utd or Liverpool (or even Everton) might win the EL, but Chelsea aren't going to win the CL (as well).

Get out of the EL Poch, and put full focus into the title race (although I'd still rather Arsenal won it).

 

I may well like that part of him .... If his next move is soon.

 

I think he's found a very good home now. But yeah, let's see as I'm sure the seriously big clubs will be eyeing him now.

Poch at Valencia would be a good fit.

 

Looking at the penalty incident again, and reading the laws of the game on handball, I will admit that it was a harsh penalty.
