It did surprise me yesterday the response that LJ got when entered the stadium yesterday. Reading comments about how disappointed all the fans were I was expecting a low key arrival like Cotterills but I thought LJ got the biggest introduction of managers for years.
I think most of us, including me, would have chosen differently, but he is here and we all want him to do well. He respects the fans and the club. He also acknowledges that not everyone warmed to him as a player, but harbours no resentment.
The guy bleeds red and white,wants to do well here,and lots of us did like him as a player when here. As said in a previous thread,rather have a manger here that wants it,and he clearly does.
This will also always be a mystery to me? So close to legendary status.. I still believe the players he brought in were quality and will develop in time to be very good championship standard players eventually.
I am breathing deep, am waiting my time but will always support Bristol City FC, all the core players are down to Cotts and I thank him for them and for gaining us promotion as Champions League 1 2014/15.
