He was there with Rafa I think? Maybe plan is for him to take over longer term... or him and Rafa join forces again? Although I thnk they fell out when here. Strange as he's had a taste of management and not often they go back to coaching from that.

Like I said, we have come back from 15 points behind before today. With the **** on display in the league this year a team with a good run could do it again, any team in the top 7 is still in with a small chance but nobody seems capable of putting that run together.

Nope, I remember when EFC were more successful than us, I remember many cup final defeats etc, you mancs are renowned for slating the likes of Rafa's and Houllier's achievements down the years since our last title, thing is they piss all over Atkinson and The Doc.

I have never slated Houllier, the only reason I slate Rafa is because he is given credit for something he never deserved.
The CL Rafa won was down to two things, Milan thought they had won at half time and Gerrard thought "**** it, we have nothing to lose". Without those two things he was clueless (still got you to the final though so some respect due).
