    Absolute ****e.
We haven't got any clue on how to move the ball forwards except to punt it high. There's no urgency in build up play with multiple passes made between Berra, Smith and Chambo before it's just launched forward anyway.
Sears is wasted out wide and I think that Pitman should start ahead of Murphy on current form, with Freddie alongside him. Trouble is Sears is also the only player we have who can beat a man out wide.

The way I feel right now I'm glad I don't get to see us play often because we are boring and more importantly, damn frustrating to watch.
We don't seem to have too many players who look comfortable on the ball.
Bristol had plenty of lads who can play and retain possession and I bet you none of them cost over a million.

Getting a bit fed up with things at my club but I'm not calling curtains on the season yet, we have a habit of turning things around just as they start to look grim.

Why oh why oh why is Pitman not starting games? Only so much a "super sub" can do in 30 mins. I don't know much about what happened during the game but confidence must've taken a knock after today. Let's just hope Bish, McG are available soon and Skuse and Fraser back before too long otherwise I can't see our season going anywhere.

Seems like Bart is saving us from some embarrassing score lines. Has to keep Gerks out for the time being

Still think we're better off getting behind the team and having faith things will get back on track. If we fail to reach top 6 this season maybe it'll convince ME to invest in the team finally.

Same first half as last week and I know its a cobbled together mid field but we really don't compete, we don't break up attacks and we don't get our front boys enough ball so after much short passing achieving nothing its hopeful punt upfield to no one in particular and gives possession back to the opposition.
On the plus side Bart was again in great form and Pringle looked good but I know its boring but we have no quality and once again we missed the boat in January to strengthen, what a pisser and to top it all it was cold and wet in Bristol, free transfers can only get you so far and I think we've found the limit.

We've been shown up by other teams who also don't spend much money but have a completely different way of playing the game.
You don't have to spend cash to have a good team, and whilst quality additions would of course help us out a bit I'm not sure if it would make a huge difference with Mick at the helm.

He'd have probably scored me if he'd started <ok>
Well done to your lads, they played some good stuff and looked far more comfortable on the ball than our lot.

It was utterly ridiculous the way we kept trying to find Murphy with long balls forward. The Bristol centre backs had an easy training session on heading today.
Second half was a lot of Smith to Berra, Berra to Smith, Smith to Chambo, onto Bru, out to Freddie and good luck son, do your thing.
Pitman is so much better than Murphy it's unreal.

And you'll be fine, I can see you finishing 16th if you carry on like that.

Funny thing about Brett Pitman being a "supersub", was the same when he was with us, must be something about him then because whenever he was in the starting 11 he never really produced much.

Similar at Bournemouth last year I believe.
I still want to see him get a couple of starts ahead of Murphy, who has not been great this season.

Pitman or Murphy starting is pretty academic when the service to the front men is so pitiful,it's the midfield that needs sorting out,but hey,we've known that for years!

Awful is a kind way to sum up this afternoons performance. Slightly better in second half but I consider that to be more down to bristol being happy with their two goals and backing off. Even then they looked more likely. No cohesion anywhere on the pitch.

Love to know how and why we became so terrible at set pieces. I was under the impression that was one of the basic foundations that we were building on from previous seasons

Attacking and defending them has been bad lately.

Absolutely embarrassing I will write thoughts tomorrow as half cut but I cannot remember coming out of a game as angry as that for quite some time.

No football parking today. Ended up driving around bristol what felt like 100 times before finding a spot. Was a bad omen for the day...
