I don't remember us ever having a team so different away from home as they are at home. We're **** enough at home, but away from home we take it to whole new depths.

Here's something, who agrees - I NEVER see a team lose so abjectly as the toon, year on year. We seem to be the only ones who lose really, really badly - I never see other teams getting the tag "embarrassment" or "shambles". Even when Norwich got turned over by our shower, it was felt that it could have been 6-6! Is that just me?? We seem to be, as a club, one that consistently delivers abysmal performances.

 

Doumbia looks a busy, hustling type of player. Good strength. 3 Chelsea defenders failed to get the ball off him without fouling him. 3 weeks now to get super fit.

 

They ought to have our Plan B managers number on speed dial.

We were just starting to come back into it. I reckon if the game had gone on longer we could have won that - and by longer I mean at least until Tuesday when Chelsea flew out to Paris (and even then I'm not sure we'd have got our shots on target).

 

See, that's the problem - it's been left with Charnley. The only man at the club more clueless than Macca.

What is an utter embarrassment is not making hem work for it and giving away the ball like they don't have basic football skills time and time again, having no shape, not appearing to have a game plan and not putting in the effort on the pitch. That is an embarrassment regardless of the scoreline.
