Any United fan would tell you last season we were not brilliant and anyone with any sense would say Chelsea and Arsenal were not at their best but the fact is United were the better team and are the best team in England. Its down to everyone else to change that next season on the pitch.

The low points total just means the league was more competitive this season.

in no way did United win the league by default or thanks to any other team. We finished 9 points ahead for god sake.

 

When did iniesta become a striker ? strange always though he was a central midfielder?

I definetly don't think he's one of the best yet, but he's on the right path to getting there.

Would anybody have classed Torres as one of the best 2 years ago? Of course they would, and many of us spotted it early on. We see the same sort of spark and talent in Suarez, and I think he has just as much potential of being as good as Torres, if not better.

At the moment, based on Suarez's current international and club form I'd say there are possibly 6 or 7 better strikers, but I'd place Suarez in the top 10.

secondly i tried starting a little debate about saurez and some players i thought were better than him and it was Ze liverbird that started a completely random argument about nothing to do with football, so i played his game and replied like he did, with personal ****.

so no i wasnt hypocritical, i judge'd his life by how he replied and typed, please make sure you read everything before making a quote and typing complete BS.

I thought this season was quite entertaining. Teams actually attempted to beat the likes of Man Utd, Liverpool, Chelsea and Arsenal (Bolton got 4 points out of 24, ****ing mint!) instead of stepping aside, therefore making the league harder to win. I bet Fergie is thinking that was one of the toughest seasons he's gone and won, as no game (aside Blackburn) was easy.

People have said that players have dropped form, continue this dropping of form please

 

In 29 La Liga appearances 09/10 Iniesta had 5 assists and 1 goal. Hardly prolific.

In 2010/2011 he improved a bit and got 8 goals in 34 appearances, but he didn't even get 6 assists that season, he got 5 or less. So no, he doesn't get much assists.

 

As my original post states, 'United were below par, but less so than Arsenal or Chelsea', which means that, yes, they were the best team. I didn't debate that. I also said that the teams were perhaps more evenly matched (due to arguably underperforming 'top' teams). So you've basically just repeated my points there, yet made an argument out of it.

The issue I was bringing up was that the table doesn't show that Arsenal threw a (projected) lead away, or that Chelsea had that barren spell at the turn of the year, so you can't use the final standings as proof to argue against those claims. Of course, we know this happened cos we watched most of the games.

 

oh or maybe scholes v the entire liverpool team ?? that would be interesting, you can count medals from all previous clubs, providing they are from a decent standard ?

hes a playmaker, his job is to create attacks, not end them.

suarez has the job to score, he is a striker, that what he's getting at....

he said "chicharito", isnt in the top 5 prem strikers cause he only scored 20 in his first ever season in a european league.

but then claims suarez is, ignoring the fact that he only scored 4, in half a season ( if it was a full season and he played just as good it would be 8 ).
