A point is nothing to us in our freefall, and tossing it all away again feels like another loss. Nothing to take heart from again. Another nothing weekend of "football" from those muppets.
How to commentate a Norwich game. 'Overhit by (insert NCFC player)' 'Chance wasted by (insert NCFC player)' 'Chaotic defending by (insert NCFC player)' '(Insert NCFC player) simply must do better there' Easiest job in football...
Right. Well that felt a bit like a loss, but it wasn't. A point is good. Well, better than nothing. The most immensely frustrating things is seeing how much more capable our team is. Against Liverpool, Stoke, West Ham and even at times against Villa we are capable of creating loads and bossing the game. But we simply cannot defend for love nor money. Confidence is shocking, there are no calming leaders. I never feel confident when the other team has the ball. I'd hoped Klose might be the one to steady everything, but he still looks like he's getting used to the league.
We can't win a game. It's impossible to stay up if we are going to throw games away like this. This is just awful.
Redmond was excellent today, in patches. He has moments. I wouldn't get rid. The others, meh. As far as I'm concerned, Olsson lost it for us today. Even if he didn't contribute to the goals particularly, as soon as he came on we were appallingly dodgy defensively.
We stopped the rot, and that's a starting lineup I wouldn't mind seeing for a run of games now. And Tettey will be back. Any other positives? Is there anyone else in our squad to play LB? Pinto, Wisdom, RyBen, Whittaker?
Yeah, and I was yelling for Brady to play left wing - but as soon as Olsson came on, I was yelling "Why t f have you moved Brady out of LB role"!
