Cut my own hair since 1963. Saved a fortune. Mind it was only about 1/6d then if I remember correctly.
Question is whats the difference between a good haircut and a bad one ?

When i was a kid in the sixties we all wanted long hair which was the fasion at the time. Me and my brother used to go to the barbers together and we always and I mean ALWAYS came out with a short back and sides despite giving instructions to the barber. It took us a few years to work out that me father always used to go the week before we went - the old bugger used to tell his mate the barber exactly what we "wanted" <laugh>

    Had a look at that.

Obviously to a (relative) newcomer who hasn't explored the forum, I've no idea who/what they're referring to 99% of the time but it didn't half come across as self indulgent claptrap. And what a spectacularly unpleasant arrogant character the one with the trots is.

Has Aussie rules caught on in any other country out of interest?

And, in relation to football... I hear the crowds are big but what about money, are there transfers for big money?

No not really mate, at the end of season an All Australian side play against Ireland in Gaelic footy. That's as close you get but obviously still playing the Irish game. It's massive in Melborne, they get 100 thousand for Grand final at mcg. The state of origin Qld vs Nsw which is a 3 game series rugby league is the pinnacle sporting event of the year over here.
