Luis Suarez - One of the Best?

I wish!! The nearest pub to my house was The Brook House on Smithdown Road. I just went drinking up market 'cause at 15 it was a pub you could get in to. But on the strict condition that "any messing by you lads and your out!" basis. I can remember on my 18th birthday that the landlord bought me my first legal pint. Sad about the Heath, it had one of the best (apparently) crown green bowls greens in Liverpool.

I was never in the navy - but I thought about it in my younger days. never sailed until I was 40 when a mate asked me to help him move a boat from Salcombe to Dartmouth. It was only an 18ft dayboat but it was a perfest day sun, calm sea etc and we were about 2/3 miles offshore when I suddenly realised that all of the **** was over there on the land and I was free and happy. Like most junkies I think I've been trying to recapture that perfect high ever since. Trouble is in this country is that sailing is just too expensive (even though most real sailors don't have 2 pennies to rub together). So you have marinas full of boats that go nowhere owned by ****ers who can't sail anyway - sad.

Been in the Brookhouse loads of times,but Smithdown Rd is dead now(unfortunately)and im not talking about the big cemetry halfway down it,I mean the pubs have mostly all gone.

The winebar(Kellys)that Sammy Lee used to own is still open though.

It is quite a bizarre statment!! He has a great record ina mediocre league, but he has only played 14 games in england with 4 goals 6 assists, madea few nice dribbles. You cannot rate him so highly without him actually proving himself lollllll

okay so hernendez only got 13 goals in his first ever season in EUROPE, and 20 in all competitions.

Suarez in half a season ( half of 13 is 6.5 btw ) only got 3-4 ( forgot which )

so lets just take out suarez to.

secondly only a fool would say rooney aint one of the top strikers in the EPL

thirdly id rate tevez is quite a lot better than saurez.

No, I just feel Grammar is a good indication of someone's intelligence. Just to let you know, I don't argue with idiots, they're just not worth the time.

 

I jus wanna say - you liverpool fans know your stuff and I wholeheartedly agree Suarez is the best striker in the world.

 

Suarez played 16 games and provided 8 assists and scored 4 goals,so he contributed to 12 goals.Not bad for someone new to the premiership.

 

Dont worry mate, they thought collymore was englands best striker a while back

Suarez got 4 goals. Half a season is 19 games. He played 13.

(It was 5 assists too, not 8 KPR)

You're right it was 13 games and he contributed to 12 goals in 13 games,thats 4 goals 8 assists.

It was 8 assists,he has two in the game against Yernited at Anfield when he took the piss out of 6 Yernited players Chick-pea and Shrek ended up in Carra's pocket.
