Manipulated a young schoolgirl who idolised him as a footballer to have sexual relations with him.

I hope his face gets used as a dartboard and a punch bag in recreation hours.

 

Pros: it would seem that #Johnson was keen to check his position on 'legal age of consent', by evidence shown on his Safari search engine.

Well I can't see any lawyer getting him out of that little pickle!

I think he did, but that's based on him changing plea. I'm not falling into the trap of the prosecution opening statement. Even when cases are thrown out of court, the opening statement from the prosecution still sounds damning. We're not even at the point of evidence yet. Now it just a pair of barristers garnishing their version of events before we get down to actual evidence. AJ's brief will probably make it look nowhere near as bad. Both should be taken with a pinch of salt atm. All the real substance is to come. I think it's going to be damning though given the plea change but we'll see.

 

Judge Jonathan Rose has given Johnson a telling off.

“It’s discourteous for him to have a conversation with dock officers.”, the judge says.

What an arrogant cock.

 

Well the Safari search for legal age of consent on his laptop is enough evidence for me mate, I'm tired of not jumping to conclusions, he's a ****ing slug and I won't believe anything his £5k an hour lawyer tries to spin off.

Not at the point of evidence? Is him messaging her asking for "more than a kiss" not evidence? I know what point you are trying to make but from the messages already read out in court is enough for me to make my mind up. He's a dirty ****, pure n simple.

The messages are damning. Couple that with him checking the legal age of consent then it's obvious what he was up to. People talk about a fine line between 15 and 16. I'm sorry, this girl had just turned 15. That makes this far worse.

Like said, I'd decided when he changed his plea. Just pointing out the garnish manipulation element that opening statements bring from both sides in a case. Wasn't having a go or anything.

 

He knew he was under 16.

He seemingly took advantage of the fact she was a star struck teenage.

Even if the prosecution version is embellished and the reality was that she was the one pushing for it, he still knew she was under age and he did what he did knowingly, having check what the law actually is.

He's ****ed.

The prosecution evidence sounds damning already. Checking the legal age of consent on his phone, I mean come on. He knew exactly what he was doing.

 

It all ties in to the day the news broke and the initial adjournment.

Forensics on his car, his computer, his phone... no wonder the daft **** changed his plea.

 

It'll be interesting to see what the defence have to say in response. They'll try and lay the blame on her no doubt.

 

After a quick trawl, this is the closest thing I've found to this case... this guy admitted it though, not all charges, he said it wasn't premeditated. He got 3 and a half years in prison.

Johnson is looking at a stretch of about 4-5 years I'd imagine if the jury find him guilty of having sex with her and later denying it.
