There's several good reasons why we have to persist with Studge until the end of the season (at least), not least the gulf in class that even last night was evident in comparison to the other strikers on show. There's also the fact that we have no Ings, that we didn't buy/loan another forward in January - and Benteke.

I can't see him returning to either City or chelsea.
City will likely buy someone like Neymar and they have a better striker in Aguero. The chavs will likely give their new manager a sh!t load to spend and go for some top European striker should Costa go, which I doubt he will

I've seen quite a few stories linking us with him (one example: http://www.chroniclelive.co.uk/spor...ews/newcastle-united-break-bank-sign-10853393), but I doubt it is anything more than lazy journalist speculation on the back of our Berahino bid. While a fit Sturridge would be ideal for us, I'm not sure we'd be ideal for a fit Sturridge. He is likely to have far better offers than coming up to us.

No disrespect but why would he move from us to Newcastle? I know we aren't top of the pile ourselves but it seems crazy to go to a team who are struggling

He'll stay, he's a class player why sell him. My opinion is we buy a striker and Studge has to do what everyone has to do, get fit and fight for a place.

  7. Only on a pay-as-you-play deal.

And when fit, he's too good for both our clubs atm.

    he's going to arsenal

Trust me. him and walcott can alternative o nthe same physio table.

Whilshire has one to himself so if this is a problem arsenal will have to raise ticket prices by £10 to afford another treatment table for sturrdige alone.

Diabys permanent bed was made available when he left the club, though Rosicky is doing his best to keep it taken.

<peacedove>Injury has not helped his case, but against Aston Villa he has shown us what we have
been missing. In your own thinking should we keep him or let him go in the summer.

    simply, no
he is our best striker when fit, you dont sell your best players if you can help it, we are a different side with him in it. and would be a good 15pts better off was he fit all season

We're averaging 6 goals a game when Sturridge starts (PL and LC)

Yup but.... let's see him play 5 in a row before gushing too much.

He's had his start. Now let's see the next step.. let's see if Klopp a total genius.
