A 12-year-old Indian girl has an ant problem. Hundreds of them continue to live inside her head, with a dozen or so emerging from her ears every day, despite repeated attempts to kill the colony. Doctors have pulled hundreds of the big ants — dead and alive — from Shreya Darji’s ears since the girl from Deesa, Gujarat, complained of ear pain last August. They’ve tried filling her ears with antiseptic to drown the things and have repeatedly tried to find the queen ant with laparoscopic cameras. The family has even gone to witch doctors, but the ants keep reproducing. http://m.torontosun.com/2016/02/08/girl-12-plagued-with-ant-colony-in-her-head
I always think of a toothbrush when I see him and I am sorely tempted to stick one up his smart arse.
More silly than usual Won't do spoiler for what it's about.....but I am weak and will watch it even though it will be silly.
http://news.sky.com/story/1640338/legend-who-tripped-up-suspect-revealed The man who tripped up a suspect fleeing the police in such an amusing casual way has been identified as a soldier. I suppose that explains his quick decision making.
Just found myself waffling on about writing in the matchday thread, sorry! Are forum types writers, for the most part? Are we fans of our own voices, as heard through letters on a page? Anyone here want to kick me in the ass to write that novel? You know the one.
I think Fran has some experience in this field, might be wrong but I am sure she has mentioned it in the past.
Had stories published, won prizes and then did my usual thing....gave up, despite being offered a regular spot in a magazine. Am okay about it because I am one of those rare people...happy doing nowt. I have never achieved my potential in anything. But don't be like me....the only way to improve writing is to write.
Yep. I used to write every day. Someone told me if you ever take a day off, you'll stop. I took a day off. Haven't written since.
