A Barca director has confirmed that they tried to sign Perez, presumably at the same time we did. It again shows the character of the young lad in picking the hard option... travelling to another country to make a name for himself... at a club which are deemed perennial strugglers too. We have a real gem on our hands there. http://www.goal.com/en-gb/news/3277/la-liga/2016/02/10/20184762/-
Or on the other hand it shows he's missing a brain cell by wanting to move to Newcastle rather than Barcelona... for footballing and weather reasons
I've been disappointed most of this season but it's an unpopular point of view. I rate him though and think with the right guidance he could be very good. Talented lad and good head on his shoulders. I'm not sure this manager has a clue how to get best from him. Isolating him so two Everton centre halfs can kick him from pillar to post is not development Steve
Agree with this, and I think his confidence has suffered, because when he came in he was smiling with the flicks and snapshots, now he comes on and looks either desperate for something to happen for him, or a bit low. Being truthful, if he had gone to Barca B, he'd have had better coaching, more freedom, and he would probably have ended up playing second division after being released at the end of a 2 year contract.
He has been poor since the Bournemouth game (and yes I know he got the winner, but his overall play was poor). He has bags of talent and hope he is with us for a long time. However, he needs what all young players need at times - a break. He needs the chance to train himself back into form rather than being forced to play his way back into form due to squad deficiencies.Hopefully, the fact we have a stronger squad now will give him the chance to do that.
Yeah we are the right. Some **** just needs to coach him and find his best role. In my opinion he needs a beardo type behind him or a target man creating space. He is a finisher who needs to just be putting the ball away like cole. All instinctive with him which is why like u day he looked good just taking his shots early etc
JPF tried that. He managed to get a whole iphone plus up his arse one night. Without lube. Obi told me.
Hoe dare you insult the weather in Newcastle. Its not for nothing its called The Ungay Brighton of the North.
Not at all times mate. He's had his fair share up front and just hasn't delivered. He is young though, and I'm sure could be guided better. Some of it though has just been his own inconsistency, no point hiding from it or trying to blame others.
He has more than not recently??? Seriously how many good players are these arseholes going to get at?
Fluctuations in form ..tis the nature of the beast in youngsters On top of that, he looks to be running on empty this past 4-6 weeks (Latin types need a regular dose of sun and HOT!) Interview w/ Perez for proof:
I was in Barcelona all last week and believe me, Newcastle is paradise compared to that tramp and thieves ridden ****hole. Beautiful city full of beggars and pickpockets. Authorities can see it happening and do **** all about it. They don't deserve any visitors imo.
