I can't imagine any team being worse that the Sunderland side last week, but then again we didn't win that either...

Want Tex and Stewart & Coutinho to start as it was nice to see some verve in that attacking third last night even if once again we couldn't make it count.
In defence i wasn't as impressed as others with Illori but might as well start him as Toure.

He can run... in the end toure can't.

I would be seriously thinking lucas at Cb v this lot or ilori. caulker... meh. big man for big lumps like carroll.

Coutinho must start and give an hour v villa.

Its more of a case now for kloppp to think how he wants to play it. he's got most options back bar two CBs.

does he stick 433 with no forward?

does he go 4-2-3-1 with the three strikers he now has rotating until whichever is best is fit enough to play 90.... or benteke proves he can actually get his head right and socre.

does he got 442 somehow with two strikers.....

Klopps got the options form here. one cup final and two easy europa league games to get through now so he should have plenty of training time.

I don't think Klopp will rush/risk anyone for this game, maybe a start for Coutinho. We have a big big game on Thursday that we have to win, as the return leg the week later is only a few days before the final, so we need that wrapped up.

pretty useless player though.... sahko can rough him up while lucas sticks to pushing lads over and giving away frees.

ah but he is BIG and pretty good in the air - more relevant actually is that Garde rarely has him in stating line up these days.
Sakho would be stuffed as he loves letting the ball bounce for christs sake instead of just heading the bloody ball <steam>

that is true. likes a chest down or else lets it bounce and jump up like a springer spaniel with his tongue hanging out... dreadful.

I think we underestimate the work garde has done on this bunch of no hopers. they are truly woeful but..... he's got them organised and working. they should be beaten home by any decent outfit... but..... they can easily do for us.

He'll have to do a lot better than he did against him last time, then.

I'd like to see us start with the strongest team and then rest players if we get a few goals to the good I'd go

Migs, Moreno, Clyne, Sakho, Toure/Illori, Hendo,Can, Lucas, Firminho, Sturridge, Coutinho

Bench:- Ward, Benteke, Lallana, Toure/Illori, Flanno, Milner, Ibe

I can't see a stronger team than that really.

I'd debate Flanagan coming in and miller for can to give can a kick in the arsenal but what uou have is pretty much it as far as I can see too.

thankyou enricky... finally some decent moderating around here.

now onto the game itself... pretty meaningless as most would agree, would still like to see the youngsters.

if benteke or mignolet start i won't be watching.

ward clyne ilori sakho smith stewart can brannagan texeira firmino origi

subs: bogdan, flanagan, lucas, ojo, henderson, coutinho, sturridge

not watching players that are a disgrace to the shirt, and shame on the manager for continue to pick these players when the youngsters have shown more heart.

it is my choice, and I encourage others to follow

I have to laugh when I see fans who think they know better than the manager and take the 'ump when he doesn't do what they think he should. :)

If we do lose or draw against villa it will be a slow downhill slide. Honestly if we can't beat the two worst sides in the premiership where does this place us?

Yes we could give up on the premiership table ranking but beware of consequences.
