I make pancakes for the kids, that's all.

Nothing like seeing my 6 year olds face while I'm flipping/dropping pancakes all over the kitchen floor.

Then force feeding them down him.

    Flu.
Not the sort where you have a runny nose and a bit of a cough- the sort where you're flat out for four days and can't eat anything for a week, then feel like **** for a fortnight afterwards. I'm in the latter phase now.

Nasty ****. I've only ever had the real thing once and I was in bed for over a week. It always makes me laugh when people in the pub say "I've got flu". Yeah, course you ****ing have. Knobheads.

The last time I had it really bad was over 30 years ago. It took about 6 weeks then to feel fully recovered, and I was pretty fit in those days.
This time wasn't quite as bad so I'm hoping it won't take that long. <ok>

It's easy to see how it's a killer in some circumstances.

Despite what women say it has actually been proven that men suffer more when they get flu then women, so man flu really exists. Although the time I tried to compare my "man flu" as being similar to the pain of childbirth was not appreciated by my Mrs (still married somehow)

I've only had the real thing once. It was horrific. My daughter was 6 days old when I contracted it so I couldn't really see her for a fortnight. I don't like going to the doctor but after 10 days of being completely laid out I started to cough up blood and had to relent.
