EMBANKMENT 40/1 Kempton 7.25 This enigmatic character was runner up in this race 12 months ago beaten only a short head off the same mark. He is always slow to go and frankly that suits him quite well, we just wouldn't want them getting too much of a head start on him. Havlin takes over from his usual apprentice and has won on him before. He is a huge price and thankfully is NOT in one of the races that Barney is planning his coup in!

Re Mr Henderson’s Peace And Co I see this one has had a minor wind op this morn – Peace And Co that is not Mr Henderson. I can't work out these big Shane Kelly gambles as there does not appear to be any connection other than the jockey. I am wondering if perhaps he was booked upon a couple of independent job horses at Kempton and punters have decided themselves that all his mounts are connected. The ones that look iffy are the Southwell horse who did not appear to like the surface last time and the last at Kempton who may well be unexposed but will need to be as the favourite is nowhere near the mark he will end up.
