Liverpool are ****. one win in 6, even Villa have done better

Villa's form has picked up of late and their results have not quite shown the work Garde has done in trying to transform a total bunch of no hopers into an actual team.

    Betting:
    Liverpool (17/20)
    Draw (5/2)
    Villa (10/3)

No actually these are real... We are that big a favorite away to villa. Given LFC's current form these odds seem crazy and the non LFC supporter should be thinking hard about at least the draw and possibly the win for villa here.

    Injuries:
    http://www.physioroom.com/news/english_premier_league/epl_injury_table.php

At least Liverpool are close to the top of this league eh?

Joe "glass" allen picks up another "knock" and we wait and see what his prognosis is
Lovern is gone with another hamstring pull....
Skertl we are not sure about.

Origi and coutinho are in training and might make the squad for this one.

I think Sturridge will continue on the bench, but would love to see Coutinho and Tex play again and actually give Firmino some service.

I think we have to make a call here after last night.

    1. smith. serious case for him to be right beside moreno in terms of being first pick

    2. ilori. I the alternative is toure... well after last night... he must surely be considered? no? if not why not? give him a go. we need to know if he will break down.

    3. Coutinho played 60mins. I expect him to start this game

    4. milner.. i expect him to move to RW.

    I can see:

    Mingolet
    Clyne ilori Shako Smith
    Can Henderson
    Milner Lallana Coutinho
    Firmino

take off lallana when he ****s up the first 60mins and put on sturridge.

Lucas played 120mins, alebit at CB.

I see zero reason to stick with toure at this point. why should we?

Disagree about Smith - constantly out of position - West Ham hit the post after he was caught out, then he was caught napping for their first goal. Moreno would have been slaughtered for that.

People may not like Moreno, who is a little brainless, but he's by far the better full back.

I honestly don't see much difference defensively. Both go missing up field, both lose their men in crosses.

So if the choice is based on offensive work I'd go with Smith at the minute.

But....similar age, similar progress needed so starting a little true competition between the pair can only be healthy.

And Hendo better buck his ideas up after watching these lads because honestly a midfield of

    ...............Stewert.................
    .........Can........Allen.............
    ............Coutinho..................

Is starting to look good to me...

  11. that channel's getting a lot of games. how come they don't get the publicity BT Sports and Sky Sports do?

  12. Moreno has almost a century of games under his belt. Brad smith has nine!

Defensively, there isn't much different imo. Offensively, Smith is better.

I agree he was naive at times but he also looked effective going forward. At this moment nothing in it between them.
