I tried to sort my music out before and I got fed up with it. Not sure how much I have but A-K mp3s there were approx 200,000, spread over 2 500GB external hard drives and a 1TB.

I've a set of 'fake vinyl' turntables whereby you have a full 12 inch vinyl platter with a record on top but you stick a USB stick in with MP3s and it emulates vinyl for the purposes of pitch control, mixing and scratching. Bet your jealous.

hell i thought i had alot of music....

about 5,000 songs mostly trojan reggae with a bit of ska thrown in.....

i guess most people would call me boring music wise as i only like reggae and ska.

modern stuff is crap [ anything after 1980 ]

Are you one of them people that has pointless files on his iPod like the A-Team theme tune or something and skips every two songs coz you don't even like it, you just have it there for the novelty?

So that I can download tunes and be able to make mixes of them instantly without having to change my methods of mixing from old direct drives. Funnily enough I actually miss spending hours in record shops listening to weird and wonderful white labels trying to find something unique, then having to pay a tenner for the thing <grr>

I dunno, you all sound like a bunch of geeks to me. People seem more interested in the technology these days than the actual music.

"I own an MP9 inter-galactic mix blaster with 10 billion megs of memory and in-built coffee grinder"

"Great. What kind of music do you listen to?"

    "Music?"

I've heard about your freakishly large mp3 collection Chica. To fill 120 is just madness <laugh> I have about 120 songs on my iPhone and I don't even listen to most of em, just 2 or 3 albums

How many songs is 120 btw?

Jaysus man that is a lot of music and I thought my 15000 + was a lot.

Nope, I have no ****e like that in my collection. I have listened to it all at some point but it depends on my mood what I choose to listen to.

About 15500 give or take a few. I have quite a long commute so I listen to music in the car and then I listen to music all day while I work

do you find you have too much choice? i remember 2 different occasions when i went on holiday, so loaded up my mp3 on each occasion for the journey to the airport, flight etc.

one time i had a ****ty mp3 where you could fit about 18 songs max on. i listened to it non-stop. i went away last year then, filled my phone up with about 250 songs and just hardly listened to it because i had too much choice to choose from.
