Yep, I understand Couts coming off due to just coming back from injury, but Tex was getting involved and after than we lost our link up and the front three tried to just do everything by themselves

Agree with all of that, especially the bit about Flanno getting back to his best - which is dross/mediocre. He was crap.

Why are people saying "we don't need any more games"?

Can you guys please let me know what importance the remaining premier league games have? I see them as having zero significance Plus this is not the PL squad. More games the better, it means you're in more competitions.

Really HOPE Sturridge can now stay fit.. He was brilliant when he came on, just gave the attack a whole different dimension. Knows when to drop deep and when to play on the shoulder, and was also refreshing to see a LFC striker make a near post run when Ibe gets to the byline! Cue injury..

i called it at the time, ridiculous subs....pedro and stewart in a midfield 2 with benteke origi sturridge and a headless ibe up top?

he clearly never once bothered to address the 'giving away cheap foul' issue either, which i find bizarre.

so i put this 1 on klopp i'm afraid, he now has a similar record to roy

You know your players better than me pal. I just think that given this was the most prestigious tournament left for you to win then he'd go with his best team. Maybe he's thinking a Carling Cup win and/or a Europa League win is more likely/prestigious.

I'd say it's a little unfair to start leveling criticism towards Klopp yet. He's taken over one of the worst sides in recent memory, suffered Liverpool's worst injury crisis since... Well I can't even remember, played us through to the final of the LC, and put in a young squad through necessity for the FA Cup, which we could potentially have progressed through had it not been for a last minute headed goal against a more than resurgent West Ham playing pretty much their first eleven.

I know we're all sick and tired of "rebuilding" years. These were supposed to be the years where our young stars matured and pushed us towards fourth. But I don't think any of you realise how much we regressed last season. Rodgers simply lost the plot with some of his tactical and transfer decisions. I won't blame it all on him. He left us with some rough talents and it's up to Klopp to polish them now. But none of the players in the squad today were signed by Klopp. None of them. He hasn't had the opportunity to have a pre-season, to a full summer transfer window (and I do accept that this January had some poor choice for Prem clubs). What did you lot expect? Rodgers was sacked and we were tenth, on a downwards spiral. We are now slightly above that in a poor run of form. So at the very least he has done the same as Rodgers would realistically have done with the cards we've been dealt with.

I hope we don't use how fed up we are with the club's recent history as an excuse to bash the manager. I'm proud of some of the lads out there tonight, disappointed in others, but we move on. Better times are ahead. It's been said every year, but Klopp is a proper manager and I've no doubt he'll eventually build his own legacy, not have to stick with Rodgers'.
