Two goals at the end of the halves. Very frustrating but our young lads did very well. Proud performance.

The biggest positive is that Sturridge and Origi are back, and we have FIrmino who can play the CF role.

this has to be the worst 6 weeks of a new year for LFC in over 50 years

on a positive note, we don't have to go 2 legs against blackburn...focus on top 4

 

It's a shame because West Ham were there for the taking but we lost the balance when we took Coutinho and Tex off. The front 3 had little creativity from the rest.

 

Benteke is just not going to ever fit our play style. Never in the box, never making the runs, has missed every single one-on-one this season too.

 

I thought Ilori was excellent tonight.

Flanno is getting back to his best.

Lucas was superb bar the bloody hands in the back all the time.

Good to see Studge, Coutinho and Origi back, gives us more options.

Migs looks seriously shaky, just like last season before Brod dropped him for Jones.

Benteskey was very frustrating to watch again but at least he got into positions to miss chances. Still not good enough obviously.

 

It wasn't even a free kick for their goal as well.

 

Despite the fact I'm pissed off, in case you couldn't tell, he's somewhat right, with the injures we have/have had, we didn't need any more games.

However to go out like that just grinds my gears!
