If all the bull **** behind the scenes with board members monk would have still been here. If they had listened to the man that took us to the highest position ever in the premiership and backed his judgement on what players we needed to progress further we would not be in this position. Monk had to ask where dyer was ffs. monk cant do his job properly without any backing and behind the scenes crap......anyone who has close ties to the club knows fully well monk was not at any fault whatsoever. I know it my ex work mates know it,curt knows it and jenkins knows it. Just like shelvey monk could not work under those conditions and forced the club to sack him... we all know that.....that is why i wont give any praise to the club and hope they can survive but wont shed a single tear if they don't. they will have deserved everything they got...

"We all know that " ....The Lone Ranger meets Tonto at the big rock and says " there are 5,000 Indians coming over the hill , what are we going to do " ....Tonto says " What do you mean WE white man " . I think MOST know lack of credit to anyone by you since Monk left ,and our fortunes turning ,is only to do with your "Scapegoat's " deserved axing .

Answer me this...Why are we still in the same position today .......? Where is the improvement ? you cant blame monk for us still one of the favourites today for the drop<laugh> All the top football pundits said we were crazy and yes they are being proved right....we are still a mess and close to relegation......So how do you explain that ? <rofl>

I was beginning to wonder if Leon was Yaya Toure's long lost twin. He was that good!

Easy to explain , nothing you say is true .
We're 4 points from relegation now , whereas we were 2 points after Monk's last game .
Most pundits have changed their tune , not that they know much to start with .
While Monk was in charge , we averaged less than a point a game , we are averaging 1.3 since he left .
Are last 4 games we are averaging 2 points a game without a loss .
Monk had 2 clean sheets in 15 games , Since his departure we've had 4 clean sheets in 10 games .
See dai , just because you say something doesn't make it true ,.It just something you say and throw in that's what everyone knows for good measure.
Monk said he had his "Best team Ever " and went injury free till he got sacked and you'll crawl through a desert to try to make it look like anyone's fault . except for Monk ,
It's hilarious to see you talk about how hard it was for Monk to function with Jenkins , when Jenkins was bending over backwards to give him a chance .
Compared to what Laudrup had to deal with with Jenkins , Monk was pampered .

We are in the same position today in a relegation battle that we were when monk was here FACT ...How anyone can deny that in black and white is either blind or don't want to hear the truth...<rofl>

We are twice as far away from relegation since Monk's last game in charge .I've answered everything you've asked Dai and still .....it should be criminal that you could accuse anyone of being blind or unable to hear the FACTS

Dai, your just being silly now, and you have to face the facts as they ARE, not as you want them to be, I have.

I was staunchly behind Monk all the way as you know but it is plain to see now that Monk made mistakes.

The biggest imo, and the one we're still paying for now was Monks appointment of O'leary and Beatie to the full time, first team coaching staff. Neither had ANY experience coaching at such high level or profile with such high pressure. I don't think any one would have raised an eyebrow if either were appointed U18's coaches, but first team, premier league coaches? we know now that this was a major error of judgement on Monks part.

The players, experienced professional footballers all, could not have been happy or impressed with hollow coaches trying to teach them things they probably already knew. Lets face it Dai, what could Beatie teach any Swansea City striker, or O'leary, who was appointed Assistant First Team Coach; Monks Number 2 over and above Curt, possibly contribute to a successful first team squad?

Employing O'leary and Beatie as first team, first line coaches in the premier league was akin to employing virgins to teach the Kama Sutra in a brothel, you could just see the coming mess, wayhay!

Monk WAS given the opportunity to address the poor situation he'd led us to, but HE chose not to. He DID ignore the advice from the board requesting he secure help and change the coaching staff, but he refused to budge and we kept sinking.

Inevitably, Monks refusal to change, along with the appalling run of results cost him. Problem now is that it could cost the club much much more. We remain perilously close to the edge but not all is lost yet. We have experience at the helm now with staff, Curt, capable of managing us out of the drop zone. Also we still have a relatively decent squad, save for one player whose name begins with Gomis, so it feels better now than before. It feels more stable and the drop seems a little less likely. All we need now is for the sun to shine so Monty can tear it up again.

We do have a difficult games ahead and the fight certainly isn't over but instead of dooming us Dai, where do you, or any one, think we would be right now had Monk stayed.

8 from 12 is not to be sneezed at but if we hadn't won those points, we'd be in 19th place on 19 points and the only team below us would be Villa. That's where I grudgingly admit I feel we would be if Monk stayed.

Dai, do you still think Leon is past it? You used to think so under Monk.

My point is we are no further forward now than when monk was boss......I cant pretend we are because the table don't lie.....I wish we were but we are not and the next 3 games will either make or break us and it will go all the way to the wire imo. We don't want that but the clock is ticking and the games are getting fewer and fewer so dont pretend we are in a better position because we are not, we are only 4 points from one of the relegation spots the same as when monk was boss.....

Leon has been one of our better players and that alone tells a story, but we are still fighting a relegation battle no matter who has had good games as it is not improving anything.....Things need to improve starting Saturday and get that fighting spirit back we had under monk...

When Monk only got 6 points from his last 11 games , you didn't talk about improving only that Monk needed more time .Now since Monk left and we got 13 points from 10 games and improved dramatically , it's all about improving more .
Most are sorry you lost your pal dai , but don't take it out on the team and people who got us out of a disaster Monk left behind guy .
