No I meant the Scottish Championship , why have a pissy little 10 team division ? it's ridiculous playing the same side at least 4 times a season 6 if they meet in the cups . They don't have good enough players to compete in the English Championship.
Because the diddy clubs in the SPFL will not vote for it. It's been mooted and voted on several times and it always fails. They want 4 games a season against Celtic (and Rangers when they were in the SPL).
I think they should just give up playing football. They gave it a go and won a few games decades ago, everything since has been dire.

It still wouldn't generate more cash, who would want to watch all the pish little teams play each other? Celtic games are dire enough... They should have focused on their academies rather than buying **** foreign imports to try and sell on. Unfortunately, as the national is team shows, they didn't and nearly every player there is pish.
Norway has 60% more teams in the top division compared to Scotland of course they should have more TV money to go around.
One of the many reasons why Celtic and Rangers are unhappy with their lot. Our governing bodies are a liability and took the first deal they were offered, which was a pittance. The diddy teams only vote against an expanded league because their big pay days are against Celtic and Rangers. Self interest rules. That and total incompetence by the SFA and SPFL.

No don't talk **** each club plays 15 different teams twice compared to your 9 4 times. You may as well have 5 and play each other 8 times in a round robin it would be just as entertaining .
When did I say we should get more than Norway? On page 10 of this thread I listed several countries of a similar size to Scotland as examples of the money other leagues get for TV rights, just to give a comparison, I never said we should get more than anyone, I only want what's fair, but I've not complained about it or any money that other leagues receive.
It's only worth what people are willing to pay for it. When your current deal runs out, even with the best PR/negotiating team on the planet, do you honestly think you could get that much more for your TV rights?
