I love how he finally cannot defend LvG any more. Once he had caught up to what everyone else was seeing, he just disappeared rather than to defend the indefensible or just hold up his hands and say "Sorry, my bad, I was wrong". Anyone could see that there was something wrong with how he was setting your team up, spending millions on quality attacking players like Di Maria, Depay, Martial, and then having them sit deep and make sideways passes. Its a shame for you guys that you didn't get Di Maria under a decent manager, because he is a cracking player. He just likes to be in teams that attack, like the United of yore, under SAF he would have stormed the PL.
Lets be honest, its a **** hole for the most part. MK that is. Its grid road system is awesome to drive in though, no one way streets etc, there are half a dozen different routes to get to every single place, meaning traffic doesn't jam. But as for the estates and the housing, its shocking. I live just outside MK now, in a little town called Leighton Buzzard, so much better. And MK is just 10 mins away for work.
**** you One of our branches is in Stoke On Trent and I go there often, MK is a **** hole but there is no comparision. Stoke is like third world!! Its a ****ing dive.....terrible place!
What do you lot think about the Poch rumours? Probably nonsense but he's done well and kept his nerve when it wasn't going so well, come through that and they have a chance of the league at this point.
I think it would be a very flavour of the month, Chelsea type appointment. We prefer to go for managers who have a long standing track record in the PL or who have had a lot of success during their career. And then destroy them.
I'll probably get slated for this (and perhaps rightly so) but while Poch is proving himself to be a very good manager, he has not had the tough competition for Spurs to be challenging as they are. If he was managing Spurs while City, Chelsea and United were at their absolute best of say 3-5 years ago, would Spurs have got a look in? I just imagine the big 4/5 clubs being stronger with better managers next year. Include Liverpool in that. And I just feel Poch in charge of United will flounder.
Poch is far too inexperienced to become United manager. Forget the football side of things, he'd get swallowed up by the magnitude of the job. Moyes knew the PL inside out but cracked very quickly. I think even LVG hasn't been able to cope with the pressure, expectation and constant scrutiny.
Thats a delusional post.... magnitude of the job??..... bit like running the country eh? Who do YOU think should take over and why?
I think Mourinho will get the job. He's been desperate for it for years and will have gained good experience at Chavski. Probably a good time for him to step up to a big job at a big club. Even he will be overwhelmed by the magnitude of it though. It's a bit like running the country.
I'll rephrase it for you........ who would YOU like to take over and why?..... Not who you think will take over.
