    Apparently Howard Webb has recently been arrested. Something to do with some incident in Oslo.

    ****ed if I know what it's about.

    But they're also claiming he was a major influence on Osama Bin Laden.

    I will say this, you can't disagree that Arsenal and Chelsea bottled it big time, they could have pushed you a lot harder to the end. That being said, it was typical United, you know they are consistent and finish the year off strongly. This same mentality bit us hard in 09 when we thought we were coasting but really united had games in hand and went on a tear, while we were dropping points.

    Anyway, this whole thread she just be moved to United vs Liverpool banter as that is all it has become. ( On topic, Luis was seriously awesome yesterday though!)

    Yes they did bottle it. Cant argue there but that just goes to show that not only is the united squad good on the physical side of things its also good mentally and in a sport like football and at the highest level thats a very big thing.

    The first line is absolute nonsense. Anyone in world football would clearly have Tevez ahead of Rooney.

    Look the point of this thread was about current form and just in case you missed the the current big tournament 'Copa Amreica' you may not of realised that Uruguay won and Suarez was voted player of the tournament. This happened yesterday, hence why i'm on about 'current' form. That tournament had some of the best players in the world in it and Suarez came out on top. Quote by a south American football journalist - 'the Copa America has confirmed that Louis Suarez is one hell of a player and the world can only watch in admiration'

    Nike hooks them up with top of line equipment for the physical side. Nike blow away everyone on that end of things. Mentality of a champion, something United have had plain and simple, we lost it, kind of got it back under Rafa, lost it again and now hopefully KK can bring that confidence, swag, winning mentality, killer instinct back into the team.

    Erm....

    Rooney.....or.....Tevez.

    One is a player who can play either as a team player of be the main man. Has a great goalscoring record while playing a number of positions, not always in attack. Has been one of the best players at one of the worlds best teams for the past 5 years and has scored in CL & CC finals.

    the other is a player who couldnt score a league goal if you paid him whilst in a team set up for goals, moans like a bitch every 6 months, causes disruption regularly and runs about alot. Only at City, where they make the whole game about him have got anything prolific out of him.

    As I said, Rooney is miles ahead of Tevez, hes not perfect and hes caused his fair share of trouble but compared to tevez its nothing much.

    As far as I'm concerned only one striker in the premiership has as much overall skill as Luis Suarez and thats Carlos Tevez.Both are like for like.Both play in a similar way and thats across the line.
    Both are energetic and unpredictable.Thats what makes them special,not mentioning the fact that both have numerous dimensions.Both are difficult to keep quiet due to their overall movement.
