I have to admit, I have only just seen the highlights from the Watford game and very little seems to have been made of Gomes rugby tackle against Kane (I think it was) on Saturday. I know it wasn't particularly intentional, he was just trying to get the ball but had an opposition player in the way so just charged into the back of his legs. A bit of a head scratcher as to how that could in any way shape or form not be a penalty.

Wenger's ridiculous views on Flamini's 'challenge' bring the game into disrepute. Also, I want Raniieri to answer for Huth's continual elbowing of opponents as well. How something as big as Huth can be invisible to officials I can't imagine?

That game will be very interesting on a number of levels because no matter what team Wenger puts up, Leicester will be very happy to chase and kick them throughout .Arsenal, like City, don't like to be pressed and challenged physically like we did to them. The new 'let the game flow' doesn't favour the Gooners in my mind and I don't see them getting more than a draw. I will be putting money on a red card though as it's such a big game and I think the Gooners will lose their heads at some point (Giroud or one of the centre halves). .

Let's hope Clattenberg has improved, he's got us v citeh on Sunday. At least he has goal line technology to help him, not one of his strogest points that.

Absolutely right. Apart from anything else, Flamini's reaction, to point showing he had 'got the ball' ought in itself to be a yellow card for being an ignorant twat.

That would earn him a yellow every time he played?

It wasn't over the line. It was an optical illusion not helped by Carroll finishing up in the back of the net

It must be because they want to give him a chance to correct all of the **** ups from the first game.
Three offside goals, completely bottled sending Demichelis off, totally inconsistent with the bookings...
Does he ever have a good game when we're playing a club from Manchester?

You can see why he got it wrong. He is supposed to stay level with the second deepest defensive player, then he flags if any attacker is to his right. Since he was three yards deeper than that, Costa was to his left and therefore seemed to be onside.......

Meanwhile, referees continue to gift Diverpool soft penalties, both European and Domestic.
