Have never followed U 21 football. Met my Arsenal mad neighbour on my walk this afternoon and he told me Arsenal had the best U 21 team in the land. On checking I found they played in Div2 of the premiership league and Derby are currently top! Sunderland are currently top of Div 1 and Leicester bottom.
How are teams selected for the various divisions?

From what I understand it depends which Category the academy is in. City have just moved up to Category 2 after moving to Bishop Burton, and changing the Airco Arena to an indoor training facility.

didnt take one. I'm sat with a cup of tea now with a good slug of Lambs Navy in it. Bloody freezing it was. The lads taking the piss cos i was a bit gushing with Brucey...
Far more handsome in the flesh i have to say. <smooch>

They looked like they played some experienced players. We seemed to have a few new ones. I didnt get a teamsheet, glad i didnt they can remain nameless. Men against boys tonight.
They missed a pen, great bit of skill by their player to get it.
Bad mistake by our 6 for their goal, well taken mind.
    OG for the second.
    We never threatened.

Can't disagree with that Chazz, I thought Clark had a reasonable game, played one or two misplaced passes, but was our best player IMO.
