A good example of the term "Witch Hunt" being used out of context is our dear departed Leon.

His friends and supporters (of which there were many) were outraged at him being named as a *****. They said it was only because he was ill and old and unable to defend himself that these accusations arose. They conveniently forget that Private Eye had outed him as far back as the 70s, the allegations were not new and had nothing to do with his age nor his infirmity.

Was cringing like **** when I read the rant of the ex army head the other week. Justice is just, up until it targets you, especially if you're famous.

 

Same as Lord Jenner, years back when the allegations against him fell apart he was applauded back into the house of commons by members of all parties.

Former quiz show host Theo French has been convicted of force-feeding rollmops to a minor.

French, 101, presented popular daytime show Crossed Wires for 42 years, but was sacked after police raided his plush Surrey home in December of last year and found photographic evidence of the fish-based abuse.

French, real name Theodore French, will be sentenced later this month at Sandborne Magistrates Court. French's agent, Malcolm Coe, believes his client will make a return to TV 'at some point in the near future'.
